@@TheDinoMan0 yeah, be responsible. These are big fish, if you've just had a tank setup for a few weeks it isn't cycled until fish get in there or you feed the bacteria... You'll have to be ready to do Luke style water changes for a while and really keep up with monitoring water quality.

Oh! Those are some beautiful fish! I'm am also shocked that you had no DOAs! I worked for a fish store many, mANY years back, and whenever we had drop-shipments, there were always DOAs. Hope they all pull through, and wow, I wish I had space for a big goldfish tank again.

Yeah, that's a lot of stress to go through.
Without a water change there definitely would have been a lot of DOA's. That's probably what the typical fish store sees, just one direct shipment.

Imported goldfish from Thailand, many types of Oranda tricolor goldfish, there is also Ranchu goldfish.. the goldfish are pretty good, especially the color, greetings from fellow cultivators in Indonesia
Its very cool to see you taking care of Fish , Most people who record them taking care of their fish doesnt really add personality which leads to a pretty boring video but you you add so much personality its so cool to just watch you

Hey Luke, nice to see everything running, I'm sure you're happy to have the extra space. Wanted to warn you about power outages though, definitely get a diesel generator or solar with battery storage. We moved out to the country for acreage and it went over our heads that we'd need an electricity alternative, power companies in rural areas are absolute ASS and take forever to even dispatch a crew. We had a mild windstorm a while ago and our power was out for 2 days, luckily there's a warming center nearby but the roads aren't plowed (the town is 300 people, barely enough local tax collected to fill potholes) so we were walking with animals that cannot regulate their body temps through awful conditions to make sure they wouldn't croak. Would hate to see you lose any fish because a winter storm knocked your power out for a few days. Pipes freezing, frozen chicken founts, we'd be screwed if we didn't have a wood stove and rain collection barrels.
I do have a propane generator! Thank you so much!

I love the white wen, and how the blood under the wen makes it appear pink, its very unique. Those white ones with the black spines are absolutely beautiful and elegant. But that one in the first bag, the mostly-black one with red and gols "splotches" is the most gorgeous of this entire shipment. He struck gold with this batch!
71 is a monster. Those tail fins are amazing. I’m curious to see what the internet names him.

Those are real beauties. I do have fish, no goldfish though. Instead, I have tetras, mollies, catfish like plecos, ottos, and corydoras, a hillstream loach, and a betta. I also have mystery snails.
Also, one of my female gold dust mollies made babies. Yeah. I've been taking care of them, and keeping them in a plastic plant pot until they grow up.
Wooo! Someone else with mysteries! I just hatched a few clutches that had pop up purples. Very excited for that.
