Unfortunately I don't think it would help much

I knew those early reviews are fake by paid youtubers. I was really skeptical. Your review confirmed my doubts. Thanks. Will avoid it.

Thanks a lot, Joe, yourbluezombie, guess I will stick to my regular wearable neck fans. I work in the industry near big heat producing machines, I literally have a bucket full of these wearable fans in my restroom at work

Have you tried setting the cold level to maximum on the app?

Not a thin person here 😂
Ordered one from Japan, but wondering if you're using it straight out of the box or did you have to use a VPN and make an account for it in the Japanese version of the app store (respective to your model iOS/Android)?
Also... pretty surprised it didn't fit too well given that the target Japanese market is usually pretty thin / on the smaller side. They also have a smaller neckband that might be worth trying with it?

I was able to use the product without connecting to a mobile app, as there isn't one available in my market. There may be some functionality that you need the app to turn on but unless I'm mistaken those settings don't affect how efficacious the cooling is.
In terms of the fit, I am very tall so my posture is a little bent forward. The device is at a point for me where it sits on an arch and since I am also thin and it is centered on the spine, it's a bit like a plate on a ball, not making full contact. I do imagine I'm an anomaly and this will make better contact for others but I expect it still would be negligible cooling.
      Cheers!

@@yourbluezombie definitely good to know that I won't have to jump through hoops to get the app working when it arrives and can just use it with the little temp sensor it comes with. And yeah, I can definitely see being tall being a problem for this. Hoping it works for me, but my expectations aren't super high with it

Also! Just from watching other videos before this. Apparently you can get the reon pocket app (it’s on iOS uk prob America’s too, prob android too). You use the app to set it to cool mode and also set it to level 5 (max). I’d be interested to know if doing so changes your opinion despite the poor fit you have. 👍
