I'm unable to register the car in another state, its not possible. We have to register it in the same state we purchased.
Hi Sir, it was possible when I renewed my registration and I showed that as well. There are a lot of changes that each state has been making with regards to BH series. Some states have started asking for the payment for all the remaining years 12-14 years in 1 go and some states have now stopped giving BH registrations too. So it is very complicated as of now.

I have two questions
Question no 1: , if I buy a car from Odisha, the rto is less than (almost half) than Karnataka. I will be moving between these two states, now the question is when I am in Karnataka I will have to pay the tax for Karnataka, how will the break up for every year works.
Question no 2: when I want to sell my car , how will that work ? I assume the new owner needs to be BH eligible? If you have made any video please provide the link.

Here are the responses to your questions :
1). Registration charges will be paid for 2 years on any renewal. You can drive the vehicle in any state for upto a maximum of 1 year without paying the reg taxes again. I suggest get the BH reg done from OD and then for a year you can legally drive in KA and then move the vehicle back to OD just for a few days and then come back to KA. In case of any checking or verification, you just need to show that the vehicle has been in that state for less than a year.

Hi Sir, BH series ki ownership transfer usko ho sakti hai jo BH series ke liye eligible hai. Agar koi eligible nahi hai to aapko BH series se normal series mein convert karna hoga. RTO generally kaafi idhar udhar karte hain BH series ko le kar and sahi jaaab nahi dete. Aap kisi broker ke through bhi ownership transfer karva sakte hain kyuki unki expertise hoti hai.

Hi Sir, I assume it is for renewal and not new application. Also you will get a message on your registered mobile number regarding the pending / completed payment. The message would have the details. Please do not panic and wait for a day or two to check if you receive any message. At the same time check on Parivahan portal with the registration number of your vehicle if it is showing pending / processing?

Hi, are you trying to change the registering state? Also please manually verify the chassis number with what you have on the vehicle chassis. In case of continued error messages, you would be required to visit the local RTO to get this resolved.

Sir mostly it remains the same unless, 1) you don't change the state and 2) the state doesn't change the tax rates.

Mera BH series Bihar se registred hua hai Jan 2023 mai and now bihar govt has sent me a notice to pay rest 12 yr amount as per thier revised notification. My BH series is due in jan 2025 and I hv been transferred to Ahmedabad Gujarat. Pls suggest what to do now.

Hi Sir, You need to purchase your bike from Punjab / Chandigarh and give a local reference address with any document which can even be proof of employment. This way your BH series vehicle will be first registered to PB and then you can move it to any state from 1st renewal onwards.

Hi Sir, aapka jo bhi registration amount hai usko 7 se divide kar leejiye almost utna he lagega har 2 saal mein. For e.g. aapka registration amount 70000 hai to aapko 10000 har 2 saal mein pay karna hoga. Hey,what car do u have ,How is 2 years charges more than rs 33,000 as tax for you .For say tataiago XT Rythm model it should not be more than rs 7000 for every 2 years
Hi Sir, my car is Alcazar. The charges are actually based on the ex-showroom price of the car. For Tiago it might be 7000-8000 but it differs car to car based on the value.
I bought a new bike and asked dealer for BH series but he git me state series number by their mistake also they are accepting this mistake. But they are not giving me BH series.

Hi Sir, yes once the state number has been allotted to your vehicle, you cannot get the BH series number now. To get the BH registration now, it will be a bit lengthy process of filling Form 27 by visiting the local RTO. If you can do that, ask the dealer to get the Form 27 filled and then this number will be converted to BH series number.

Hi Sir, the excess amount first gets adjusted towards the state taxes and then any remaining amount gets refunded to you by the state RTO.

Hi Sir, you can buy the car from TG on temporary registration and can get the BH registration done from DL by providing the following documents :
Form 60 from your Organization (showing presence in 4 or more states / UT)
Your Company ID card
Your address proof of Delhi
Your Aadhaar and other ID proofs
In case you do not have a address in DL, please try to get a registered rent agreement done.
Submit these documents to the DL local RTO and your BH registration will be taken care of.
One thing you mentioned is wrong. We cannot change the state during the renewal of the tax. I tried. It showed me error. You can try and give a proper soulution
Hi Sir, thats the whole idea of BH series that you can change the state at the time of renewal. It was launch only to give this experience to eligible population. What is the error message you are getting? You can also try to use a different browser and if the issue persists, you need to connect with the local RTO. here are a few states that have not initiated the BH series yet, like Telangana and if you are change the state to any of the ineligible state, you will get the error and there is no way out. Hope this answers.

I'm Planning for BH Series for my new car but I'm confused. what if i change my job, do i need to submit documents again or is it problamatic if new company is not in 4 states.
Hi sir, since you are currently eligible you can go ahead and take BH series registration. Even if you change the company or leave it, you will still be able to keep the BH Series with you.
My company is in more than 4 states (KA, Tamilnadu, Telangana, Andhra, J&K, Punjab, Bihar, MH etc) , but not in my home state and home town (UP) . Can i get the BH series number plate from UP RTO still? KA RTO does not provide BH series to private co. employees
Hi sir, you can still get the BH series registration from UP provided you have a valid ID / address proof from UP.
I am changing the state from Madhya Pradesh to Maharashtra, so now I am paying road tax of Maharashtra but when I am entering my vehicle details to pay road tax it gives me this error.
The vehicle entered is not registered at PUNE, Maharashtra. Please either enter Vehicle Registration Number registered at this RTO OR change the State/RTO from Page.

Hi Sir, While I was paying tax for my BH vehicle, I tried changing state to DL and KA and in both the cases it allowed me to do without any such error message. Possible reasons are :
1. Was your vehicle originally registered to BH or it was later converted to BH
2. A lot of state RTOs are facing issues in managing BH series and hence the impact on MH conversion.
Suggestion : In case you are currently in MH, try and seek help from someone at the local RTO office. If not, check with any of the RTO people based at the car dealers office as they can also help with this.

Hi sir, my car's normal registration was approximately 230000 and since I chose BH series, I paid ~39000 initially and now I'll have to pay ~33000 every 2 years. So the total tax paid in next 14 years will be almost the same as I would have paid upfront. For Baleno if the tax is 65k, if you go for BH series, you will initially pay ~10000 and can save the remaining 50K with you or may save some interest on additional loan amount. In the renewals you will be paying approximately 8500-9000 every 2 years. As per my convenience, I would have still chosen the BH series for Baleno too. Let me know if you need more clarification.

Sir if i select future state as different state ex MH RJ MP the portal automatically redirects it to initial RTO state where vehicle was registered.. i could not find any option for paying taxes to specific future state
Hi Sir, looks like the MoRTH has made some changes to the Parivahan portal as a lot of people are complaining the same. When I made this video, I actually showed that it accepted other states too. Please contact your local RTO to get the registration done for the future state.

Hi, ideally the penalty cannot be imposed before the expiry date. You would be required to contact the local RTO to get the amount corrected.

Try and pay the tax using a different browser as at times it shows errors. Also if it continues, you would be required to visit the local RTO to get the error removed from the backend.

Hi, yes sir you can convert the number to a normal state registration. You need to visit the local RTO for this.

Hi Sir, BH se regular conversion easy hai but online nahi hoga aapko RTO visit karna padega. Jo amount bachega woh aapko pro rated base pe RTO mein deposit karna hoga. For e.g. aapka BH series renewal amount approx 21000 aata hai har do saal mein and aapne already 4 saal complete kar liye, toh aapko RTO mein approximately 105000 aur deposit karvane honge poora 15 years ka registration complete karne ke liye.
Currently i am in pvt org having offices in more than 4 states. I am currently having BH series number. Now since i am going to change the pvt organisation which is present in one state only, do i need to change the number from BH to regional number or i can keep paying the tax every 2 years

Hi Sir, please don't believe what the dealer is saying. If you can email me, I will send you across the official Gazette notification of BH series registration that specifies as below :
"Provided also that if a vehicle registered in BH-series, is transferred in the name of such person who is
eligible for BH-series, then such vehicle shall continue to be validly registered under BH-series so long as transferee
remains eligible for BH-series"

Hello sir I am not sure about other states but in Rajasthan, the RTO sends the renewed RC to your postal address through registered post. Please don't go to the RTO office immediately as you already have the payment receipt with the new validity which can be verified on the vahan website. In case you don't get the RC at home, then you can visit maybe after a month or two. Taking the same vehicle is not required to the RTO office.

Hi Sir, in case you are not eligible for BH series registration, ideally the current owner of the car should pay the additional amount of converting the car to normal state registration and then sell it to you. I mean that additional amount should ideally be adjusted in the selling cost of the car.

Hi Sir, In an ideal scenario, you can drive your vehicle in any of the state for the maximum of 1 year even if it is registered in a different state. So for 1 year it should not be a problem and then you will have to renew it for the other state.

Hi sir, you can get the car converted to state registration without even getting any kind of NOC. Ideally the RC should show the validity in multiples of 2 years and I am not sure how BH Series RC is showing validity till 2037. Please check the actual validity on Parivahan website. If you feel getting the number converted to state reg is tough in WB, please continue with BH series only.

Hi, I am using Hyundai Alcazar. The price is calculated based on the ex-showroom price of the car. The ex-showroom price was almost 20 Lac+ and hence the tax amount is quite high.
We don’t need to submit form 60 again ? If I change to a company who doesn’t have 4 branches doesn’t matter in renewal ?

Hi Sir, try and check if the online portal is working. In case it is not try and visit the local RTO office and get help there. Generally for BH series they will ask you to refer to online guide only.
For me, when I am trying to renew, It’s asking for MV tax and Road safety tax/cess (33k for mv tax and 2k approx for road safety tax) But it didn’t came for you.
Do you know what it is? Mine is registered in Bihar and it’s a diesel . Don’t know if extra 2% that was supposed to be charged for diesel is coming as cess or this is something different.
Hi Sir, the tax components charged are additional MV tax, environment tax, green tax, cess, road safety tax, municipality tax, etc. Every state has a list of a few taxes that they charge and it varies state to state. Since yours is a Diesel vehicle the taxes would be approximately 2% higher than any Petrol vehicle. Cess is not related to Diesel / Petrol. It is designed to compensate producer (manufacturing) states for possible revenue losses under the GST regime.

If i work in a private company having offices in 4 different states and i take BH number. After 3 years i switch to a company having office in only one state then will i be eligible to renew BH number?
Hi Sir, once you procure the BH series registration, it doesn't matter you switch the company or you take retirement, you can still continue to keep the vehicle and number ownership with you. For more details please watch this :

Hello ma'm I am not sure about other states but in Rajasthan, the RTO sends the renewed RC to your postal address through registered post.

Hi Sir, generally in cases mein police kaafi investigation karti hai and uske baad he conclusion pe aati hai. Investigation mein aapse aapke work, residence and aur bhi cheez puchi jaati hain. Violation ki penalties bahut heavy hoti hain isliye generally log aisa karte nahi hain ki 1 year se upar bhi chala lein.

Pls help- Brief Context
Last month I bought a BH vehicle from an Army Officer ( getting transferred- BH 23 series... just 1 year old in April 2024).
Vehicle bought in Jodhpur Raasthan and getting onward formalities in Jodhpur Rajasthan only.
Shared all necessary documents for name transfer last month.
But now i am informed that it cant be transfered before 3 yrs, till that time have to carry on based on sale agreement only? Please guide
@@pramjeetkhalon1343 Hi Sir, there are no guidelines that says you need to keep it for at least 3 years. If you are eligible for BH series, you can purchase and get all the formalities done on your name. In case you do not meet the BH eligibility criteria, then the Army Officer will have to get the registration converted to a normal registration by paying the remaining tax amount on a pro-rata basis and then can transfer on your name. My suggestion would be to not carry on with just the sale letter as there are lot of complications if anything happens to the vehicle.

In my knowledge, you need to register your vehicle under state rto from bh registration. In some scenarios like insurance claim, they can reject the claims if you are not eligible and using bh series.
@@officialabhishekarya Hi sir, that is not the case until you sell your vehicle to someone who is not eligible. Insurance will not have any issues with the registration till the time taxes are completely paid. Insurance is applicable across India and is not limited to your registering city or state.

Hi sir, the 2 yearly tax will be approximately INR 4000 as the first time registration includes green tax and a few other components.

Sir as such BH series ke vehicles ko police rokti nahi hai but kuch states aise hain jahaan BH series start nahi hua hai vaise ki Telangana. Agar aap wahaan BH series chalate hain 1 year se upar to aapko TG ka road tax pay karna pad sakta hai and phir number bhi change ho jaata hai.

Agar hum koi bhi state choose ker le to usse koi dikkat hogi kya.Like I live in UP, if I choose state as Chennai will
1. RTO amount will change?
2. As no is valid all over India I think I should not face any problem even if I choose state as Chennai

Hi Sir, Ideally you need to choose the state for which you want the car to be registered for the next 2 years. In case you select TN in place of UP but your car stays in UP, there could be some penalties as the car's tax is paid for TN and not UP. I recommend you to please check with the UP state RTO on this.
The tax amount might change depending on state wise guidelines.
