Hunter Valley Steamfest 2016 - The Great Train Race

On Sunday the 10th of April 2016 as part of the 30th annual Hunter Valley Steamfest, 'The Great Train Race' took place with 4 locomotives participating, a world first. 5917, 3016, 6029 & 3642 departed from Maitland one by one heading to Hanbury Junction. Then at 10.30am they raced side by side along with 4 tiger moth biplanes back to Maitland.
