Excellent video! Her ability to deliver plenty of information in a clear, concise and effective way is remarkable. Wish all tutorials were like this, well done Denise!
Finally someone who plays clarinet talks about voicing the tongue properly. I hear a lot of talk about voicings with the saxophonists, but, hardly ever from clarinetists. Thanks for the advice. It confirms for me what I had to figure out for myself. 🙏👍
Thanks alot for the information now am just a beginner I was given a Durable ABS mini clarinet does it sound the same way like other clarinet thanks alot madam
I like to have my students think of drinking a milkshake whenever I’m trying to help my students make an embouchure. This will make them show their dimples, and push their chin down.

One of the best clinics on embouchure I've ever seen. Thanks, Prof. Gainey.
Very clear, precise, and accurate. A double lip embouchure makes it all so much simpler though. Works great for the vast majority.
Just watched 20 embouchure videos. This is the best, thank you.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Denise you are a marvellous teacher. God bless you and yours and that wonderful Bakunin Company. Have a great 2024. Bill. UK

Please tell me, should the teeth or chin come forward from its natural position while playing?

I'm currently learning the clarinet because a refresher on the saxophone would be too obnoxious for the neighbors.
Thank you
