Since last 2 months I am watching your videos. Actually I never cared when they were posted, they are amazing and I like your cooking style, and sometimes I try them too.
I appreciate a fishing TH-camr who isn’t full on acting all the time. You’re much more genuine than the others. I can’t stand when others act like every fish catch is the catch of their lives.

YOUNG PEOPLE - do something crazy like this dude! In my 20's and early 30's, I climbed many mountains (mainly my best friend and me), mountain biked all over Colorado, took long distance motorcycle trips, fished TONS of lakes in Minnesota/Canada, traveled the country, etc, etc, etc. We/I had a BLAST! Memories to last a lifetime. I LOVE my life now....but, I'm older (married with 3 kids), desk job, and my body is slowly changing (requiring more sleep, not as energetic, and a LOT LESS alcohol😀). Get out there and live life!!! Live with the attitude of "NO REGRETS." Take lots of pics and have FUN!!!!
I just got out of hospital with covid and pneumonia. Been sick all week with fever. It's been horrible. This brighten my day. I forgot I was sick for 30 mins.

Mav I started to watch you’re videos about 3 years ago because my friends and I camp in our trucks and go to our ranches, my best friend and I are converting a van and you were a huge inspiration, I did watch Hannah first though.

Last year. I drove to 25 different states and 2 coasts and put 80 thousand miles on my truck and spent about 140-150 nights in my truck and the coldest night I spent in my truck was probably 5 degrees. I have been on 40+ hour drives.

@@MegaSethb yeah you’re right I was actually looking for this so I could delete this. There’s actually a girl who does this. It’s pretty incredible. But at the same time I wasn’t really wrong I didn’t say girls couldn’t do it, it would just be a bit of trouble with the peeing situation, I’m more thinking like in the terms of it being sub zero and girls need to be in a squatting position

I converted an old brand fx Fed ex 8' topper on a 2010 f150 into a rig like yours. Will be traveling once this pandemic has eased. You're lucky to do this when you're young, I have two yrs till retirement. Thanks for the insperation kid.

@@corypruzin9430 I have taken the "cramper" out on several trips. My wife isn't to keen on coming with but that was expected. It has paid for itself though, as I can remote camp where others won't.
I have canned the sleeping platform I built for the camper. I used a 6ft folding table and cut a inch and a half off each end, gorrila taped the legs and installed the table across the bed instead of lengthwise. It folds in the middle, using a cooler underneath and a support mattress, ( head and feet raised) Freeing up alot of room for my all in one solar/ shore power/ 1000 watt inverter. Porta potty. Fridge. Ventilation is a constant battle with the fantastic fan andI will think of a way to improve. Thank you for your comment.
I’m happy for this kid. He’s young but is living life to the fullest . Taking it all in and just enjoying life. We can all take notes , I know I can .

There isn’t a good experience for every bad one etc. We tell ourselves that in order to console ourselves. There are good and there are bad, that’s it! Take it on the chin, put it behind you and move on. Fortunately, you seem to be good at that Mav. Just continue to enjoy what you do and you’ll get better at it. My old Rugby teacher used to say. If you don’t enjoy it, you won’t be good at it. I’ve remembered that across the decades, I try to enjoy all I do, I fail sometimes, but I move on. Something always turns up. Thanks for the vid Mav. I have enjoyed it, again!

What's amazing to me is I have watched many of the original videos. My Suburban is going to be my home away from home sooner rather than later. Mav's videos demonstrate what is possible.

Found Mav around the time he found the VW camper and hit 1M subscribers. Been back tracking over the old vids and this one was a gem. Gotta wonder what happened with sock beverages and especially Hannah... but that's Mav's business, things change, sometimes for the better and others, not so much... but as Mavrik would say, "Ya gotta do what ya gotta doo."
Life is short. What this pandemic is doing is teaching us to slow down and appreciate the little things in life that we often oversee. Glad you're able to take advantage of your situation to live it up & get lost.

I like the montage because it showcases what you liked most, and i get to see some clips of vides i haven't watched yet. Your truck camping is awesome and I like your set up. i was homeless for a short while and I lived in my 2005 Buick Rendezvous, and I thankful I'm not anymore, but watching your videos bring back some fond memories camping out. Thanks for making such great content. Oh and music is not really necessary, I really enjoy your sincerity that you show in your love of the outdoors and traveling. Keep up the great work.

If you ever make it down to Texas to do your shenanigans, Padre Island National Seashore (closed right now due to Hurricane Hannah and COVID), you can drive 60 miles down the beach and camp anywhere along the shore. It's the most terrifying and exciting place to truck camp.

You should look into a GoFastCampers Topper for your truck, would open up a lot of storage for when the time comes that you would need it. The sides and rear panels can be opened on the topper section for a 270-degree view. They're made in Montana!

I think what I love most about your videos is that they seem as if the sole purpose of you making them is so you can rewatch them one day in the future, to look back at the amazing things you have done. It's not to sell anything or promote anything, and it's not fake, like most things are nowadays. Your videos are probably the most authentic content out there right now. Just found your channel and I really enjoyed it. I'm from Minnesota and we seem to have an adventuresome spirit in us, and appreciation of nature. My parents and I traveled in a 27ft sailboat from Minnesota to Tennessee....long story but now I live in Virginia. If ya ever get this way, trout are abundant in our New River and we also mushroom hunt, make for some great eats! Keep your spirits high and adventures in your heart!
