मारुति कई वर्षों बोलती आ रही है कि wagon R का इलेक्ट्रिक varsion आने वाला है, जबकि सत्य यही है कि मारुति अपनी ev के लिए कोई भी प्रयास नहीं कर रही । इनका पूरा focus सिर्फ सस्ती कार और बिना safety rating की कार बेचने में ही रहता है । इन्हें कार की सेफ्टी से कोई मतलब नही है ।
Indian Central Govt and State Governments should hold the electric power rates lower at least till 2030 so that electric infrastructure could be constructed and people could shift for economic reasons. Other wise electric mobility growth would not grow at geometric progression and would not be cost effective in the long run. Electric vehicles dont have resale value and batteries needed to be replaced in about 3- 5years.
Dont expect anything Positive from the present government, they are busy feeling their own coffers, or filling the pockets of their Cronies and backers. specially some crony business men.

Right now electric hatch back or so called compact suv sector with car under 6.5 L is empty. The features should be simple 100km range max with a portable mini 1 to 1.5 kV generator n a fast charger inbuilt in the car n should be able to run on diesel, petrol, cng any two of the fuel n the fuel tank should be enough to charge the fast charger of battery pack of the car atleast 3 times so that car owner will not have to worry about charging station, he or she can easily stop the car on side of a road n take a power nap in ac cabin of the car n by that time the mini generator charges the car battery pack n the owner wakes up n ready to go after half hrs or 1hr max. People r tired of rising fuel price. If any car company achieve this then they will actually give a milage = rs 0.5 to 1.2 per km n this will be the game changing revolution in four wheeler industry n who ever company achieve this will sell their car in millions of units.

I don't understand why people want 400 km car, I only travel 50 km max a day and I sleep for 8 hrs,(which time I can charge ev at home) ,there is charging station every 100/150 km in our area so don't get why people are nagging

Atleast company should claim upto 500 km bcs we all know whatever they say just minus 100-130 out of that. But overall at present it's not a good choice to boom on electric. It will take time to fix each n every issue. I am happy atleast they started from failure they will learn more to improve
