@@dylanrigby9736 I dont think the doppleganger kills you. I think they are a warning that your going to die. So closing your eyes so you dont see them wont change anything. From what I understood from this scene, the doppleganger was a warning. She was getting Gina to stop the car before she died to protect John and Jet. If she had died while driving the car they would have gotten into an accident and crashed, hurting John and Jet.

Her doppelgänger warned her to stop, which saved her loved ones - you can view it as a scary bringer of death or you can view it as a force of protection which wants you to do one final thing to make sure that when you leave the world then, at least, your loved ones are protected.
@@xwinwinwinxsee your doppelgänger, omen, spirit, twin, double what ever you want to call it is not a bad thing in the sense it wants to kill you. It’s your subconscious trying to help/save you at the end, for example if you was driving like Gina was with the family it will try and stop you so you don’t cause a crash and kill your family yourself/damage your body bad. It’s all down to each persons belief in it I guess but that is mine but I don’t think there’s any proof behind it because nobody has seen what death is like etc
Home and away does shock deaths, Shane and Angel, Jack, Charlie, Gina, Casey. It was creepy how she was fine then saw herself as if a warning she'd die but maybe it was saving them. Poor Xavier and Brendan. Where was her oldest son who ran off with Martha?

I took it as an hallucination brought on by the tumor that killed her but seeing an omen or sign of her death more interesting point of view!.
