- About a year ago I bought my Yamaha yzf r125 not knowing if I would like it or not. A year later I share with you my opinion on the Yamaha yzf r125 and whether or not I regret buying this motorcycle.

the best thing u can do get a r125 if u are new driver and sell it after 5years or less and get upgraded to R3, R6 or R1...
I think "the best thing to do" is just doing whatever you want, want to ride a 125cc? go for it! Do you want to buy a bigger bike? Go ahead! I'll probably and up selling my bike after 3 years of riding it and buy something else.

How much money have you spend on it in totall? And how much costs the insurance? Nice vid!
The bike itself was full price, money I spent on mods should be just under 1000 euro, and insurance is about 300 euro a year.

Sure I saw a video of one of these bikes doing 175kmh, which is about 110 mph, are 125's still restricted,?, I think not. 83 my Kawasaki AR125 would do 85mph, lying across the tank, going down a hill, luckily I then got a GT550 shaft drive, do about 120mph, quite quick acceleration, nothing, nothing like a 650 Bandit.
What is your opinion on the new 2019 model?
I prefer the looks of the older models, I bet it rides great tho!

Ik heb precies hetzelfde gevoel als jij. Van auto's naar moto's gegaan. Deze zomer een CBR125R gekocht voor een prikje. Prachtige motor, geen spijt van de aankoop :) zit je ook in de 125cc fb groep?

Once had the 2010 model great little bike is there much diffrents to the old gen to the new gen surely the engine is the same

Ikzelf rijd met een motodax 140cc en deze kan ook wel tellen qua fun factor! Voor mij persoonlijk meer dan bij modellen zoals een YZF r125 al vind ik ze wel super vet ogen!
Dat is zeker waar! Ik heb zelf ook 2 jaar met een Skyteam PBR gereden en die kleine machientjes zijn zeker niet verkeerd, ben dan nu ook terug een PBR in elkaar aan het steken!
Legends Garage Maak er dan ook maar wat video's van :D! Ze zien er stuk voor stuk goed uit!
Dat ga ik zeker en vast doen!

I bought my R125 new in 2017 for 5595 Euro.
i used to have yamaha ybr 125 it was terrible in higway. I have now dr 650 uses 1 litre more fuel in 100km than my old 125cc but has 5 time more power and torq. I have ridden r125 wr 125 and they were sluggish as ybr. Just wait few years to go buy and get some proper bike like ninja 250 or r3. 125cc is best for postie bike nothing else
I have already been on plenty of bigger bikes like the Ninja 400 and the MT-07, My R125 is perfectly capable on Belgian highways.
can you go over long distances or you gotta have breaks because how uncomortable it is

6000km in one year? I did that in about a month on mine. Not even joking i just could not stop riding but it is a 750cc and not a 125

It's a quality of life feature. It is nice to have but definitely not necessary. In three years of riding, I only used the ABS on my R125 twice.

Hallo, ik heb een vraagje, want ik vroeg mij af of er een begrenser op zulke motoren zit die je er eventueel vanaf kan halen om zo meer pk en een hogere max snelheid te behalen. Ik wil zelf heel graag een a1 motor, maar wil wel graag voor meer pk dan 15 gaan (niet veel meer), en ik vroeg me af hoe dit mogelijk is. Ook heb ik gelezen over je motor opvoeren, alleen dat kost veel geld en levert weinig resultaat. Groetjes :)

I'm not trying to sound American, I'm just talking how I learned it, I don't think I sound American, most people say I have an accent. I also tend to mix some American and British pronunciations in some videos for example the word "Garage".
I learned English by myself at a young age by playing video games and listening to music, indeed most of it is in American English. In High School I had English in school which was British English.

Ohh it is definitely a nice looking bike, but the reason I got the R125 was because of the sharp aggressive look and wide looking farings, which the new one completely lacks.

5600 euro, in general, isn't a lot for a motorcycle, however considering its only a "125cc" it is quite a lot of money especially if you compare prices with other 125cc motorcycles. The new Honda cb125r is 4300 euro. even the new CB300R is "only" 5000 euro still 600 euro cheaper than my R125. 5600 euro could buy you 2 brand new 125cc motorcycles if you look at brands like Brixton, Hanway,...

@@spoetnik1494 most people don't have 2 stroke 125's he is saying the price is high relatively to the other 4 strokes you can buy on the market which is true. I have one but I got it used because you can get it in nearly new condition for a grand and a bit less with mods included.

I warn you, the exhaust is not legal I get stopped by the cops almost weekly :P also ride with eartips all the time because it hurts your ears otherwise.
