purchased it as it was using the original Wondermill technology( I hope
they licensed it) and I was impressed by the original wondermill design
of not using stones. Video and pictures don't speak the full truth. I
learnt it after I received the product.
I called the manufacturer
few times before ordering for few pre-sales queries and they answered
it and gave confidence even though they are a NO name brand - they have
wasted their opportunity to become a known brand by some silly and
easily avoidable mistakes.
When I e-mailed the amazon seller - I
assume who is also part of the manufacturer group, I was told that they
only had Grey color in stock and will receive other colors on
17/12/2018. I received my mill on 18/12/2018. After I ordered I noticed
the Amazon product page said no further stock. So I really wonder
whether they were trying to clear their stock and the product being end
of line. There is no further stock on site as to when I am posting this
review on 19/12/18
I am mostly writing this review for the
company who made this product rather than for future buyers as I don't
think there will be any buyers if they fail to fix the problems, in my
opinion I think this company has lost an opportunity to become a known
brand from being a non entity.
The original wonder mill brand is a
great idea, however when some non technical businessman tries to cut
corners by do some jugaad, you end up killing the golden goose.
I
received the product - it was well packaged and delivered, not even a
single dent to the retail carton. However on opening the box, the knob
for controlling the coarseness of the flour was not in place it had
fallen inside the carton. If you can't even find a glue that can hold
the knob or have a process to quality check a product out of assembly
line, which you have priced at a premium, then it is really pathetic.
They
have cut cost on redesigning the flour container, this container is
flimsy and it might break when trying to insert in to the mill hole. The
fit is not snug, it is just an approximation using a rubber washer. But
the lid can break if you use exessive force. If you break the container
or lid then there is no way you can mill - MAJOR part, but the
manufacturer has tried his jugaad there to save a few hundred rupees and
his jugaad might make the machine useless if the lid of the container
breaks.
The lid of the container has an air vent, this was nicely
designed in the original along with a cup so that not much of the flour
rises out towards the vent, i think they dropped it on some cost
cutting measure. All they have is a hole and a sponge covering the whole
to prevent the container becoming a vaccum chamber. Jugaad is good if
it serves the purpose but the sponge you have chosen, disintegrates in
to fine powder on just showing it in tap water. If you can't pay
attention to these small things, you can't design a consumer product.
This is a potential health hazard as the disintegrated sponge material
can mix with the flour . You can see the picture for proof as to how the
spong appears as if it is bitten by a rodent, this is just after a dip
in water. I called the manufacturer after I noticed this sponge problem,
they simply gave a number to call. That number was unreachable. I sent
an SMS explaining the problem and asked them to call back. No call
received till close of business yesterday.
I have returned the product in less than 24 hours of its delivery. Amazon has processed the refund.
This product is a great example of how to kill a successful product by poor business choices on saving few hundred rupees.
Cost is around 17000 and after 25% discount it will cost u 14000 around its very expensive you are taking advantage of need of people , it's not acceptable sorry

I will buy it when the price come down to INR 3000. I am paying less than 100 rupees in a month to flour mill for grinding all my family requirements. 13,000 is equal to 13 years cost, which is a bad investment. Also the rotating parts made of plastic which gradually will be deposited to human body

Don't say old types of grain-flore mills are bad. They're also durable and dust free. Even ur maamill also need maintenance after some duration.

Please don't go for it.! Because aatta from this is not at all possible to use. You again have to take the aatta to flour mill to make it smooth. This product is not at all useful... Intolerable noise level... When asked manufacturers they never respond to your any queries...

Product seems very nice, but price ₹ 13,600/- is too too too much.
I bought same design mixer grinder with all jars for ₹ 1600/- 6 years back.
Now you ll say it is a mixer grinder, this is mill. Yes. But, even if we take the variation of some internal parts, the price doesn’t mount to more than ₹ 2500/-.
For atta mill, the price is unreasonable. Normal next door, chakki would be much cheaper than this.

It's price is very high when comaperd to what we get from it. We have plenty of ckekki mills around us which charges ₹ 6-8 per kg. In how many years we get back our investment using this, including power bill?
