@@MarioMang1one When my husband passed away, I inherited a small sawmill from his estate, employing 225 people. Did I build that business? No. My husband did. My husband built that firm-not the union thugs trying to strong-arm us. On legal advice, we discontinued the health insurance plan as it was and cut their pay as punishment. We informed the union that if they elected new leadership willing to negotiate, we would restore the insurance. This strategy worked. We succeeded in bringing in more reasonable union leaders who agreed to the necessary cuts I demanded. As part of the deal, they received personal pay raises, which were kept off the books. By doing this, we were able to protect my husband’s legacy and keep the business afloat. Behind the scenes, we also addressed the troublemakers, offering them severance packages in exchange for signing NDAs, effectively removing the obstacles to progress. Unions, in my view, are a cancer on successful businesses across this nation, stifling innovation and growth. I eagerly look forward to President Trump taking action to expand “right to work” laws wherever possible. I protected my husband's hard work from these greedy layabouts who took no risks. It's her money Ethel. Her ex-husband has his own money. She was the first "employee" of Amazon when it started, delivering packages to the post office, etc.
She is wasting her money. Non profits are not a reliable or smart investment. She should manage these funds herself, directing an initiative extremely closely and carefully, rather than just throwing money at corrupt NGOs.
Agreed 👍. NGOs have morphed into a fervorous leftist reservoir to keep them afloat between liberal administrations. I would be careful about background checking the “charity” and then give the money to a non-“progressive” church with people helping someone other than themselves..
doens't matter , non profits are corrupted , they would just enrich themselves by spending which will only go back to economy ,but yes majority of donation are waste of money

It would be great she gives money to nonprofit organizations that help rescue / save and more Animals because a lot of people go out of their way to help Animals.
If personally, I don't think she got enough from her divorce. He wouldn't have that business if it wasn't for her working hard with him. In that business behind every good business man stands a good business woman. And he should never forget it. He lost a great woman..

Who the heck does Elon Musk think he is picking on McKenzie? Scott, she is the sweetest girl and the most generous and benevolent. She's like an angel on earth. He's jealous. That's what my mom used to say about people who talked about you. He couldn't put a pimple on her butt. I wish she would run for President.Maybe we'd see a real world. Keep up the good work.God knows how good you are.
That's so generous of her. To give away her ex-husband's money.
She could easily keep every penny. Morally and Legally it's all her money. Instead of putting her down, you should uplift individuals like her

She’s such a strong powerful woman.😂

*coughs "bezo's' money" *coughs
the company growth did not happen Until a year or so after she left to go write a book and do other things..
Most of the riches women in the world obtained their wealth the same way she did... right time, right place.
that can be said of men as well
She didn't earn it, so she's just giving it away.
without her support, I doubt Bezos would start Amazon. Don't try to be smart

@ You’re trying hard to be smart, aren’t you?
I love her. She's awesome. 2 right things Jeff ever did, was Marrying her and Divorcing her
She must feel terrible about how they earned it.
It's her money - she can do as she pleases with it.
MacKenzie Scott for President
What people don’t understand if she doesn’t give it away, IT will go to Uncle Sam
Throws away 2 billion
Can I just have 1 million please?
Instead of donating that 2 billion maybe create a non-profit that lobbies the government for better health care for its citizens
This is putting your money where your mouth is.
technically it's putting her ex-husband's money where her mouth is. LOL
Atleast she gives more than bezos.
People be informed, knowledge is power, if she does not give it away, Uncle Sam will eat it up, by giving her money to charity, she pays less in Taxes.
She must be planning to run for president.
Thanks to Jeff & all Amazon shoppers.
We know where the river begins
Ah crap, I accidentally deleted an email from her.😂
Spend that ex husband’s money 😂
God bless her ❤

Donating to non profits is wasteful. Whatever make her feel worthy.
The money is all stolen from Microsoft.'s victims .....
Who cares whos money it is. Shes still giving something that shes not going to have anymore.
If you tried to figure out what percent of her income is donated charitably, it would create a localized paradox as you would have to divide by zero.

"Scott donates anonymously" at about :45 . Did you just report that? Who are you guys?
At least one Bezos has integrity, grace and brains. She also wouldn't sell her soul to Trump like her ex has.
Elon and other billionaires please take notice
I'm not so sure of that I think I would wait and see what that donation ends up doing

Just trying to buy her way to heaven, and it ain't gonna work.
Such a beautiful soul that donates so much money to help those not as fortunate. So encouraging to know good people still exist
I wonder. If she would help me
