That spot you pulled up in is the heart of the hood next to the park and he’s right about us patrolling Del Mar around augies burger but we don’t beef with wah Ching like that but fosho the homies would bust a U turn to hit him up make sure he’s ABZ .. wah Ching tho theyre mostly in Rosemead especially his side Oceanside thats way deep in rosemead by South San Gabriel. The only wah Ching in that time close to us was Ken side in Alhambra and Sonny side in rosemead. We only really beef with ABZ on sight cause they’re in SG in the hood and Alhambra. I’m pretty sure wah Ching goes at it more with Bartlett St and Lomas . But he came over here cause he has that memory of it going down when he was 12 spensa about that tho those lil homies were on some active shit

Born and raised in Monterey Park, Rosemead, Alhambra till I was 14 it was real shit with the Asians and Mexicans straight up brawls in the 90’s. I went to Garvey Junior High in the 90’s and it was deep man. At a young age there were sick fucken brawls, huge 50 on 50 type of rumbles. But at the end of the day I had many close friends that were Asian, vietnamese, and Cambodian. It was wild back then. I love you all much love

    Rough recipe
Brown ground beef (I used 97% lean) and set aside
Chop and caramelize 1 yellow onion in same pan
De-glaze onions and scrape pan with some white wine
    Add beef back in
Add soy sauce, fish sauce, oyster sauce, and honey plus a little chili oil
    Cook down until thickened
Add in green onions and cook until they are tender
After cooled, I topped the beef with chopped fresh basil
Added a little white rice to the bottom to soak up the juices but it honestly would be fine on its own
I cheated for the Kimchi and bought it at the store but am actually looking forward to making it for the first time soon!
Egg recipe is below in comments
Broccoli was just steamed and I ended up eating it with a little sriracha mayo on top but totally optional, as well
10/10 will be making for lunches again!
