    We found the rather over-the-top focus on “Goethe and Schiller” regarding Weimar somewhat odd for such a lovely and historic city with so much more going on besides those dudes. The central reading room in the State library is jaw-dropping 😮
    Regarding Goethe though, it’s ironic he’s known as a poet, as he really wanted to be known for his scientific work in optics.
    And note - the Buchenwald concentration camp is on the hill about 10 km NW of town.

      Goethe put German literature on the map. Much like what Kant did to philosophy. As for the concentration camp, it was an re-education camp for those with non traditional German values. Biden’s Shitstain woke Murica is one big concentration camp.

    I don't think its necessary to pronounce all those names in THAT German an accent.
