Does anyone know if Kyle walker has a problem with his neck or something? Seems like he only has 90 degree sight towards his left. Almost never passes to Saka and when he does it's when there are 2 players behind him ready to tackle. Almost never overlaps him either. Struggle to see how it'll be Yamal vs Saka when Saka's real challenger is him teammate.

Walker’s defending at the end of the first half when Ake kept the ball in (and Walker even looked that way before his excessively slow reaction) was some of the worst I’ve seen recently. He’s useless offensively and defensively, and a well liability at this point.
I think Mikel is developing quite the reputation …. Clubs are now judging players by which coach and club they have trained in . Along with talent , the discipline and character dev that comes with Arsenal players is being appreciated by coaches of other clubs . Not surprised De Zerbi is in for Nketiah.

Hey Charles. It seems like Arsenal are doing some good business with outgoings at the moment. Lokonga and Tavares being offloaded at an early stage does look like good sign. Don't forget about the youth department as well with Patino and Norton Cuffy maybe able to generate some profit i think similar to Biereth. Kind of also wanted ask you about the Partey situation as well. There were numerous stories of Saudi clubs going again for Partey but haven't heard much since then. If we don't sell Partey, it might be a little tight for Arsenal to sign a new midfielder.

With Yamal starring in the Euro's at 16, do you think this will have our young players wanting to get first team minutes sooner, and do you think that players like Nwaneri and Obi-Martin should be moved up sooner rather than later, due to their abilities and football brains being so advanced for their age?
In many other careers a select few would fly up the ladder if they were as good at what they do as some of our lads are.

Technically, the penalty was given for Studs-Showing and hence the yellow card for the defender.

Hi Charles, I was watching the England game last night (Irish btw) and thought that the decision to give a pen and yellow were spot on, the point being missed is that, it's not the fact he tried to block the ball but did it studs first, it's reckless and dangerous and anybody who has played at any level will tell you is excruciatingly painfull, he is fully allowed to try block it but nowhere on the pitch can you enter a challenge studs first, was shocked watching ITV that the commentary team were so adamant that it wasn't a pen! Hi both, great show as always. Saw a stat the other day that Podolski only played 82 games for Arsenal. Who do you think is/was the most underused arsenal player? Not through injury just through the manager not really fancying them. I would probably say Podolski, but also think Elneny could have contributed more and Perez didn't get enough chances.

Clear penalty for me. Guy doesn't get the ball and his foot is so close to the ball Kane can't avoid the contact. They have always been a free hit for a defender but I'm glad they gave it, it's really dangerous.
Hi Charles, I was wondering what you think of this idea?: Arsenal bring in Federio Chiesa on loan with option to buy, but they insert a clause in the contract that says if he stays fit and uninjured for 90% of the season then it becomes an obligation.

We badly need another winger because we need to rest Saka when he faces Ake. He just cant get past him. So rest him and put on the NEW winger. 😂😂
What stands out, in every game we have played in the Euro's, is that England visible tires in second half, {Rice was out on he's feet} . So it might be a time to throw on 3 or 4 subs at half time to freshen up the team. Might not have to wait for the subs to come on in the last few mins. to win games for us. We have a big talented squad , so use them.
This window is slowly becoming a bit of a concern.
Season starts in 5 weeks or so. We have zero signings and tons of players tournament tied.
We need to start being quicker, ins and outs. I know the entire market is slow, but cmon.

He jumped into the tackle, high with studs showing its "called endangering the opponent", if I'm wrong tell me when a studs up tackle wasn't a foul? What year was that? Because it's been a red card offence since at least the 80's. Its the same as going over the ball, its alwyas been a foul to go in studs up or are we allowing leg breakers now?
You moan about Saka getting kicked all game but youre willing to allow studs up tackles? Watch when someone goes in studs up on Saka and breaks his leg, what you gonna do then? You still gonna say studs up is perfectly ok? What if the injury forces Saka to retire? Would you still say studs up tackles are ok?

Last 50 appearances Calafiori played 30 times as LCB, 15 times as LB, 4 as RB and once as DM, so don’t think your comment stands up
Regarding the pen: I don't think Kane's actions are relevant. Dumfries, who apparently agreed it was a pen, is out stretching his leg with studs up. If that makes contact anywhere further up the leg, sick as the shin, it could cause a leg break. That's why it's a pen. How many times have people like Neville himself called out players going into challenges with their legs/feet like that.

Studs up is illegal for a reason, good reason, to stop players being crippled and forced to retire.
