My mom was the same way as this lady is she loved hanging around us kids and her friends and our cousins it didn't ruin any of us it actually showed us what true family is and how much our mother actually loved us so you know what is that really bothers you that she hangs out with her children like that you shouldn't be watching her channel
Just out of curiosity, do you have people your age that you hang around with? Mom it’s not healthy for you and your kids to hang around each other so much because it alters both your growth. You as a mature adult and your kids as young people that should be hanging around their friends. It is OK to do things with them once in a while, however, not all the time. This comes from a child psychologist, who is studying your family in order to get a better understanding of the adopted children that I work with and the dynamics of the interaction between adopted kids and their parents. Mom, you have done a fantastic job, but you have to let them shine on their terms without being so overwhelming in their lives. There is a term called over mothering and you fall into that category, which is not healthy. As a single father of five adopted kids, I did the same thing for a while until my friends said down, who were psychologist that worked with the adopted kids had to pointed out to me because overhearing blinded me from seeing this. It doesn’t mean that you’re a failure as a parent, it only means that you have to look and understand it because you are going to get hurt when you start seeing that your kids aren’t spending the amount of time you want them to spend with you. You have to remember that you have boys and when they get married, their wives are going to want to spend a whole lot of time with their families, causing their husbands to put their family as secondary. Men do this as part of their experience of becoming married adults. It makes me wonder how much over mothering that’s going to occur when they have a children.

Please remember you only see a fraction of there lives. I ask you to not make this amazing mom feel bad for enjoying time with her kids! They all spend time with others. Heather just enjoys showing us her family so that's what you see.
What you are doing is very biased. My husband has been doing social media as well for about 19 years. So as an “expert” who he is & what he shows online is the complete opposite of who he is in person. This a 13 minute video into a person’s life with their family. There are 24 hours in a day & it’s doubtful if she is spending all 24 hours with her children. The other issue for your “study” is geographical location. I grew up in a rural area & if there is a limited population then it’s normal to be with family throughout the day. Many parents employed their children not to keep them close, but because that is the only fully functioning business that is close by. Another example that has nothing to do with this channel is different African tribes or Amish families. They literally live with their children & do sometimes sleep in the same house with their older children & grandchildren & spouses. It’s extremely wrong to study someone who doesn’t know they are being studied & it’s not very good research to use a 13 minute or hour long video to base an entire study on. Please stop or your data will not be effective.
