Yes, it is sad, but also at the same time very fortunate. It's sad that they sit and rust, but it is very fortunate that they are - it probably saved this from ending up as scrap metal. Its just a matter of locating the objects and save them before it is too late. :)
I take a collision repair and refurbishing class and I will say you guys did excellent work on the primer and getting all the old paint and rust off good work on your progress and job so far
Is it complete now? I'd love to visit and see for myself. Thank you for your hardwork and above everything sharing and preserving this piece of history
Hi, Fantastic find. Can't wait to see your progress and the complete project. At 3:37, can you please identify the containers? Very interesting. Thanks!
Great video! Also I had a question. I'm making schematics as a project for the field kitchen. How large are the bina at 3:39? (Mainly wondering about the black and white containers in the back)
So how did you strip the rust and the old paint? Did you have the thing sand-blasted or something? I got something like that at my workplace. Can't wait to see it finished! You're saving a piece of history there!
Hello Logan! :) Thank you!!! :) Yes, I got it sandblasted, and it turned out to be a very solid piece (mostly surface rust). The kettles are getting re-enamelled in the same Bavarian blue and white cream (inside the lid) colours. The rest of the kitchen will be in the original Panzer gray. :)

Wow! Insane that it was just rusting away under a shed. Crazy to think there is still stuff like this out there after all these years
