Dearborn is a city in the State of Michigan. It is located in Wayne County and is part of the Detroit metropolitan area.
Henry Ford was born on a farm here and later established an estate in Dearborn, as well as his River Rouge Complex, the largest factory of his Ford empire. He developed mass production of automobiles, and based the world headquarters of the Ford Motor Company here.
Dearborn residents are Americans primarily of European or Middle Eastern ancestry, many descendants of 19th and 20th-century immigrants. The primary European ethnicities, as identified by respondents to the census, are German, Polish, Irish, and Italian. Because of new waves of immigration from the Middle East in the late 20th century, the largest ethnic grouping is now composed of descendants of various nationalities of that area: Muslims and Christians from Lebanon and Palestine, as well as immigrants from Syria, Iraq, and Yemen.

Born and raised on the W side of Detroit. Live in ATL now. Dearborn was 10 mins away from the old house. Love ❤️ this video. I miss being at the Fairlane Mall. Detroit/Dearborn will always be home.

Born in Dearborn/lived in Detorit, then Westland, the Ann Arbor. Many memories of Detroit and Dearborn from the days when the Ford Rotunda was around,Tigers played at Briggs Stadium and trips on the Bob-Lo Boat were common.

Too young to remember the Rotunda but I can remember the giant "Presto Whip" cans on telegraph. Does that ring a bell?

@@stephaniegormley9982 YES. ALONG WITH recollections of a giant tire somewhere along one of the expressways to Ann Arbor, and, in Detroit itself, a giant old-fashioned iron stove, tho I can't recall exactly where that was. Maybe Wyandotte?

in Michigan, 55 mph is actually the posted minimum speed on most interstates and expressways, but on most 2 lane rural roads and some urban freeways, 55 is the maximum. Go figure.

I grew up in W. Dearborn in the 60's and 70's. That was back when it was an awesome place to live. Its currently turned into a shithole.

Actually it's the fastest growing city in Michigan with lots of businesses and restaurants. It's also very safe and culturally rich.

The stop at Greenfield Rd......just ahead, across Greenfield is the site of the Henry Ford birthplace and homestead. I grew up playing in the fields there before all of the development.
