If you go there you can call real estate agencies or apartment locators and they might give you free advice on apartment value. Looking on Zillow at home values can give you an idea of which neighborhoods are safe and have the things you want. There are neighborhoods that are cheaper and nice but always try to find out who your neighbors will be.
Well, it does look like they did some sidewalk work downtown with landscaping and guard rail with Michigan Av. so close. At least pedestrians feel safer now.
Great looking city with a lot including NYT's "the best museum in the country" Henry Ford Museum and Greenfield Village. Clean safe. Also has second most people on the terror watch list after NYC.
It's too bad downtown Dearborn never developed properly with Michigan Avenue right in the center. Not exactly very walkable. But nice neighborhoods and parks.

There are no banks that I know of owned by Arabs there.
