Not sure who stated it first, but Richard C. Heyser, of JPL, papers back in the late 60's -70's, broached the subject. He stated that the frequency response of a Loudspeaker is a complex variable with the amplitude response the Real component of the complex variable and the phase response the Imaginary component. When the respective components of the Real and Imaginary frequency response plots were Hilbert Transforms of each other, then the System was said to be capable of behaving as a Minimum Phase Network. BTW, stunning Loudspeakers.But I'd rather listen to Deep Purple's Burn LP or the long version of Lazy played through them. Audiophile heresy, sure, but a blast.
What is that first song? It sounds like Imogen Heap, but I'm not sure. It sounds pretty amazing over my cheap computer speakers, so I'm guessing it was pretty impressive in person.
stacking two momentum in this manner is a way to overheat and probably dramaticaly shorten the livespan of the electronics. How professionals can commit such mistake!!!!
Your concern I’m sure is appreciated. Perhaps you could call a meeting with Daryl Wilson (Dave has passed) and Dan D’Agostino and inform them that they don’t know as much as you do about hi-fi and electronics and set them straight.
Generally you’re right. In this case there is obviously a three inch distance between the upper and the lower amp …which apparently is enough for that presentation. At home in my own environment I wouldn’t do that either. But I also wouldn’t use 40 foot interconnects just to have my preamp and source next to my listening seat…. show set up 🤷🏻

Yes close micd, brings many speakers closer to the music. Room acoustics offer standing frequencies a more live atmosphere.

if u look at he VU meters u can see they are barely moving, they are very powerful amps that im sure ur ears will die before those amps do
