hey everyone, we are so overwhelmed with all of the love and prayers in the comments today!!! I honestly was NOT expecting this. I just wanted to update you all - at the time I filmed this video Denis was doing much worse than he is now. I'm happy to let you guys know that he is almoooost back to himself again. It'll take a little more time but I'm so happy he's doing much better now. We appreciate you guys' support so much and we love you!

Jackie, I spent all of last year fighting breast cancer, and even though there were some times when things were bleak, I still made it through. Whatever Denis is going through, he's doing just that -- going THROUGH it. I know my fiancé felt like he wasn't helping at times, but honestly, just him being there and being his usual loving self, helped a lot. Your love will help him heal. ❤️

I love Wayne Goss, but he says that it's his opinion; and yes - whenever someone makes a statement, someone else takes it as gospel! I love watching you and your energy - as an older woman of color, imagine my struggle in the 60s and 70s when Fashion Fair was the only way to go. I ruined many clothes with it!!! Now we have so many choices, and I appreciate you for your Born This Way collaboration. I just ordered it and I'm looking forward to using a foundation that actually matches my skin. I have a LOT of non-matching makeup.

Wayne Goss made that video for people with drier skin or creases under their eyes, who tend to have caking of that amount of concealer. He mentioned not everyone needs that much concealer, and his makeup philosophy is less is more, BUT HE DIDN'T GIVE NO SHADE! He's also a Jackie fan, btw. People just can't understand nuance these days
MsMdip I understood his video. And you're right, he did make that video for people with dry skin. He's been in the game a loooooong time so of course he knows what he's talking about. He just gave his advice to be helpful.
yall I'm not discrediting Wayne, my point wasn't even about him at all. I'm just saying that when one person says something it does not mean that everyone who watches their videos has to take it upon themselves to call everyone else who does things differently wrong. His technique is his technique and that's cool, but people sometimes do not understand how to discern that we all have different styles and no one even thought concealer was being applied "wrong" until one person said it, which is kind of silly when you really think about it.
Jackie Aina No, of course you're not discrediting him. There were several comments that took what you said as you "shading" him but that really wasn't the case. He's been in the business for a good while and just offered his advice as he does on many other make-up tricks and hacks. They're not going to work for everybody because we don't all have the same type of skin, shades, face shapes, etc.. How you do your concealer works very well for you and your makeup always looks beautiful.

Wayne also said it's just makeup. It's not that serious. I watch his videos also and he always also says do what you want that fits you. I put my concealer on the same way you do because the way Wayne suggests just does not work for me. If the dark area under your eyes is larger than you have to put the concealer on to cover the area. If you're just brightening, his technique is perfect. Much Love to Wayne. Much love to you cause I do follow your videos also. I use techniques that work for me. So I get different techniques from several Beauty Gurus. No one way is the gospel. Keep doing you!👏🥂🙏💖💋
