- Day 3 of riding, this climb was a challenge with the amount of energy I had left. The trail keeps climbing another 1km up from where I turned around, but doesn’t look nearly as steep as the first half. The last push up the gravel slope was the most challenging part.
Love those trails. The video just doesn’t do it justice. Good riding!
Can’t wait to go back already!
Lovely hill climb! Cant wait to jump on my exc after this!!
That kept going forever lol Can you link the gas can you’re running up front? Need one just in case with this new 24 fuel pump design
It's an MSR 1L gas bottle. You should be able to order them from amazon or find them at an outdoor sporting goods store. Don't think the brand matters too much.
That is something we don't have a lot of here down in the LM. Good practice man, I suck at hill climbs!
Lytton is great for them. Probably my favourite riding area I’ve been to.
I’m with you dog - my number one Achilles
@@thesmoness you seem pretty smooth up those, man at cat scratch that small one I fucked it up twice
Great job. All second gear or was some of this in first?
Mostly second. Was in first a few times to get moving, then was in second for the rest.
I don’t usually get fomo. But damn I’d like to try that
I want to hit this again sometime and go all the way up. Doing another trip out there this year.
@@stanbarry let me know. See if the old tpi will blow up
Thats some steep riding 😂 nice video
The steeper the better!
Crap, that we a massive climb. As much as going up is nasty, going down that would be far more frightening.
I was mostly worried about overheating my brakes and taking off! I stopped a handful of times to let them cool off.
You climb like a pro! You're on the older bike, right? Is there something wrong with the new Husky or are you just switching things up?
Thanks! I’ve been working on my hill climbing technique and it definitely showed on this trip. This is the new bike, I just put new plastics and graphics on it. I no longer own the 22 TX.
@@stanbarry Ah, of course. That does make more sense. The new plastics look great, and extra points from the bottle setup at the front 😀. That is a new one for me
@@JuhoVilleOskari Thanks, I’m really happy with the new look.
It’s smart to dump that fuel in as soon as you can because taking a crash to the bottle would not be good!
