    Burger buns, made simpler, using simple ingredients. These bakery style burger buns are uber soft, fluffy and moist with a little tint of sugar in it. Made using an ancient Japanese technique, this bread recipe is surely a must have in your stash!
    Ingredients:
    FLOUR - 2 TBSP
    WATER - 1/2 CUP
    MILK POWDER - 3 TBSP
    SUGAR - 3 TBSP
    YEAST - 2 TSP
    WARM WATER - 1/2 CUP + 2/3 TBSP
    FLOUR - 2 CUP
    OIL - 3 TBSP
    NOTE : 1 CUP = 250 ML

    I've tried it just now. Really good! Although I haven't tasted it but looks so yummy! Although in the beginning I had a hard time with the dough consistency because its very sticky and not forming. So I added more flour to it than the 2 cups as per the recipe.

      I used a regular gas oven which is part of my cooking range. Plus you should watch out for it in the end based on your oven.

    Wanted to know, if I want to yield 12 piece, then doubling the quantity of ingredients will be fine? Also do I also double the yeast amount?

    but they are soft from the inside and a little bit not like yours from the outside. yours from the outside the look soft and fluffy mine are a bit more of crunchy. but that doesn't matter for me the clue is that they aree so delicious😀

      How did your buns turned out?
      I didn't have bread flour. So, I have had to add more all purpose flour and I don't have kneading machine I kneaded almost for an hour or so.
      Turned out spongy and yummy but it's so tiring as well.

      it's called tang zhong, it's a mixture of flour and water and/or milk to make a gelatinous paste.
      It's primary purpose is to make the bread moist and fluffy by incorporating more moisture into the mixture without adding any fat or liquid, which sometimes can cause adverse effect on the bread.
      it's basically just a method to cheat the chemistry of the bread.

    I made these today exactly as the recipe it turned out sooo good .like my whole family loved it I made em small and I got like 20 buns .
    And here's a tip guys pls do not skip the kneading its gonna be really sticky but just keep kneading till the steakyness goes it took me about 25 mins of kneading .

    How many grams of maida did you use? How long should I preheat? Which temperature?

      1 cup = 250ml. Search in google like this 250ml flour in grams then you will understand. I preheated my oven for 10 mins. Temperature will be same as i wrote in video for baking. Sure i will upload your requested recipe Asap. Thank you ❤

    I tried this today ..
    I used conventiom mode in Microwave . I bake them at 200 C for 25 minutes. Outer side it was Just Perfect but when I cut them It was Undercooked in centre ..So I again Bake them for 5 more minutes But It became Very hard. :(

    Your Bun recipe is excellent. Each time it comes out well. I used half and half whole meat and Maida plus less sugar. Still came out well.

    U r killing the yeast, putting salt and yeast together without mixing flour at first

      Salt doesnt kill the yeast entirely it only slows the growth of the yeast, and this is only if you add too much salt, the salt to yeast ratio here was not much so it doesnt kill or slow growth of the yeast.
      + there is sugar which is helping in its favor

      could this be the reason why my yeast didnt bubble up (ferment) as much as it would on oter days ??

      Yeah! this can be the reason for sure. Add salt and mix it with flour first then add yeast mixed with a little sugar. It will work!
