Italian Counting Numbers

  • A very basic thing in any language is learning how to count. You will use the numbers from one through ten constantly! When you tell time, when you interact with people at the market, or around town, you name it. So these first few must be memorized! But from there, it becomes quite simple to build out any other number imaginable, so let's hit all the basic number-related vocabulary right now!

As someone who speaks italian and learning french I'm learning that counting is so much harder in french ahahah to say 91 you should do 4x20+11 it is crazy, children have to learn math before numbers ahaha

Haha, I thought Germans went overboard with numbers! To be honest, this is how I do arithmetic. I try to split things into easier chunks, for instance 7x9 is 7x10 - 7x1 or 30+30+9-6, but of course I don't speak it. It would be ridicules 😂

even if the numbers are relatively similar, Italian is not the same as Spanish it may seem from some words, however the rules and pronunciation are light years away from Italian so it descends from Latin most Italian words in Spanish do not exist or I'm not even a bit like that
