    Thank you Stephen for sharing this with us! All the information you shared is valuable and every hair system wearer should know. A hair system really can be lifechanging for someone, while at the same time, there are people who look better being bald. People need to decide what is right for themselves. 🙂

    They say that a system lasts about 3 months. I say that the system looks best between 3 and 8 months due to the thinning that occurs. You might need do dye it, but with the right treatments and oils a system looks way more natural with time.

    I tried hair units for a little while when I was in my 40s. They were just too much trouble for me. Now I'm bumping 68 years old I went to cheap full wigs. I called them my hair hats. I lucked into one that was just perfect color style for me it's just so smooth to just slip it on with no adhesive no nothing just like putting on a hat. I'm sure people know it's a wig but I like it.

      @@adminofsugas just Google full men's hair or wigs for men. The internet is full of them most of them come from places like China or somewhere but actually some of them are pretty damn good I've got three I look good in all three of them. But my favorite I just got lucky on it.

    The thin skin polys the hairs along the hairline also break off and she’d rather quickly. This created a problem of where when the hairs break and shed along the hairline then poly is exposed and you can clearly see it on your forehead which is a dead giveaway, and will draw eyes to that area immediately.
    The solution is to trim away the exposed poly which creates another problem. Then your hairline is too high which looks ridiculous and is also a dead giveaway. Then, unless you have trimmed your base from your template longer in the back than you actually need it, then when you take the unit off to reposition the hairline down more to compensate from cutting way the exposed poly, the back it too short to cover your area.
    This is an inherent problem in all poly systems and I have ordered from 6 different quality vendors they all have this problem.
    Lace systems don’t break or shed near as much a,one that hairline and not as quickly and if trimmed correctly a,long the hairline properly the hairline is just about undetectable too especially the Swiss lace.

    • @punkyroxx
      @punkyroxx 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      If you wear the hair combed forward you can avoid the base being seen.

    • @southpawtx
      @southpawtx ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I've never had the hair break off at the hairline. You've got to treat it more gently than you would if it were your real hair. Most people brush or comb from the front forehead hairline back, putting extra stress on the front area. I'm guessing that's your problem. Try not to comb or brush it if you have hairspray or any other holding products in your hair. That will definitely rip pieces out. Always just wet it with water and make it pliable before you run brushes , combs, or your hands through the the hair.

    • @neilkendall5499
      @neilkendall5499 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@southpawtx I wear skin systems with swiss lace at the hairline and I can comb it back no problem and it looks great. It's a hybrid solution that works well for me. It does depend on the hair system though, who you order it from etc. Not all skin systems shed as fast at the hairline.

      If you have a lace one it helps but just keep in mind you are laying glue or tape on the scalp which creates a barrier.

      I think the hairline on Swiss lace looks better than .03 polly. The dyed knots on the Swiss lace have a better appearance than the dark roots coming from the polly.

    Than she messed up the cut, so i let it cut i even shorter at another haircutter.
    I wanted to maintain that surfer typ of look but now my receding hairline sticks out and my front hair is to short to put to the side. Wtf i have done ...
