Sad for the fans how the race played out! (Lost two of the boats to damage) The silver lining is Brent Hall completed some of the required 15 laps to become a qualified H1 driver! Forgot to mention that all drivers are safe!

My question is will Brent Hall be in Madison this weekend? If he is, and he could get the rest of his qualifying laps in then he could race in the Madison Regatta. It still looks like a pretty small field though.

Another question I'd like to ask even though now it seems to be wishful thinking but; could H1 officials rescheduled the final heat to actually be ran on the Guntersville course either the day after ( which would have been Monday June 26th) or could they have rescheduled it and reran the final heat on the Saturday after the Madison Regatta? I realize I'm trying to think out loud, but; it would've been nice to see an actual final heat take place. On thing is for sure, if it hadn't been for that wind delay the final heat probably would've taken place, and Andrew Tate flipping his boat over probably wouldn't have happened. If anyone has any other thoughts feel free to share.

So awesome to finally see a piston boat competing...
Those are not piston engines. turbine engines. Thats why the timing/ throttle is so important.
