All three sound exquisite. I think the dcS and Nagra portray the soundstage better between soloist and orchestra. Metranome gives us by far the most luscious rendition of the solo violinist however. I would be delighted with any of them as my dac as all three certainly offer a most convincing rendition of classical music.
I liked Nagra>Metronome>DCS. But all three of them sound fantastic. It will sound different in my system. Currently using Nagra Tube DAC and Metronome DSC.
Nagra HD DAC is very old at this point. Is it upgraded to the latest Tube DAC standard? Is it using RCA not XLR (which is preferable)? What is the output gain? So many variables unanswered….
DCS: 2d veil, digital glare, not relaxing bass, not clean enough, not suited for complex passage, busy sound NAGRA: good bite, smooth natural sounding timbre, stress free, close sounding but not dynamic enough METRONOME: holographic wide best transition into bass most calming deep bass most dynamic, bit too 3D
@@MrBazsi888 Many reviews I read (and I own Vivaldi APEX stack), never heard any comment like "digital glare, not relaxing bass, not clean enough". They are in fact bit too clean/sterile to some people. :-)
So much depends on system synergy (e.g., cabling, music server, and preamp); not to mention TH-cam is a terrible way to asses these components. Usually these comparisons use different cables and inputs, so they can facilitate A-B comparisons.

Did you get this result by blind A-B? And what associated gears were used in the test?
@@QQ-td9id focal utopia headphones and stax 007.
And you can tell that by listening on YT? Give me a break!

I own AN UK Dac5 Signature. Its more musical than all of them.

Metronome more involving, more texture.
DCS all day much more air and realistic sound quality
Nagra meter shows it was not even working! WTF is this comparison?!
МУЗЫКА КАК МУЗЫКА.
nagra is the best
