I’m mad at 3 people in this episode: 1. President Reiko for refusing to help stopping Unalaq 2. Bolin for not believing Mako is innocent 3. Mako for not telling Korra that they broke up in front of all these people - although I get that he panicked
The first reason was explained in episode 5 when why would the RC military fight a war they are not involved with and realistically in a civil war you don’t want to chose sides or make this war become bigger which is what Varrick wanted
@@michaellancia45 no they told him it’s not just a civil war anymore the whole world is in danger bc he wants to free Vaatu. The president still decided not to help bc he thinks the troops will be needed in republic city
Mako is a player but I sympathize with him in this situation. It would be soooo awkward to have another public breakup when you are being applauded as a hero, not to mention it’s the avatar. He should have asked to speak with Korra in private but he panicked
However they then went on to sail on a battleship from a place north of the equator (Republic City) to the freaking south pole. And he didn't tell her the whole trip.

I love this whole show but I understand why people think the end of season 2 is a little off the rails. I’m glad these guys are enjoying it as much as I hoped they would
The end of season 2 is literally the worst part of it. Also you conveniently left out the final season of the show that is as bad if not worse than season 2.

Tbh I like season 2 (I never understood the hate). And the fight at the end shows how powerful Unalaq truely is, defenetly one of the 3 strongest waterbenders in the Avatar universe and he is really amazing villain (the type people just hate because he is good in being evil).

This used to be my most-disliked episode of this season. On rewatch, it's not that bad, but I really hated that we finally had a solid conflict setup and we stopped the momentum dead-on for a side plot that I found ridiculous from the beginning. I think this started my trend of having Bolin be my least favorite character in Team Avatar.
Korra will mess up even more and ruin the show. I’m skipping through reactions because I hate this season, specifically the ending. Hurry up and get to season 3 😪

@@weisserdracheyto protect the city. If the whole world is in danger, why send people away ? You'll get swarmed, it makes sense
