VSAUCE YES!!! So many of these are wirth watching. So many are incredibly timeless
I wish i could partake in one of those dream related studies as I'm one of those people who has zero recollection of any dreams my whole life. Going to sleep is just an instant passage of time from night to morning.
Instant sleep wake. The pass out blink of an eye a few hours is gone and nothing happened keep moving on.
For me, my dreaming is either non-existent or so vivid and immersive that it takes me a second to adjust to reality.

Same. My dreams stopped when I was around 12-13, and now I may have one every year or so. While my gf recounts her dreams every night, her lucid dreaming, and her sleep paralysis. It's odd.

The thing about names influencing a persons perspective on themselves and others perspectives was really interesting as someone who has a "rare" name ( i have only met 1 person in my life that shares my name ).

My only problem with the video is I've definitely had lucid dreams where I've acknowledged something was off like colors in my home being different and if I wasn't noticing that it wouldn't have woke me up😂

In the French version, the Polish notation looks like this: ŻAK. It is interesting to note that in the past the very word Żak meant student. And it is exactly about the word S t u d e n t because in Polish we have two names for a person studying. Student (Polish and English spelling is the same) is a person studying at university. And only there we use this name. A person who learns in elementary, middle and high school and technical school is called a learner (u cz e ń ). The languages are so much alike and different from each other. It's very intresting.

My dreams are usually like impressionism or abstraction. The latter is related to my phobia. I feel discomfort, something unpleasant when I am near large objects that are submerged in water or just emerge close to me and are big. I see such things in dreams however they have very simple shapes like geometric figures and it's as if these dreams are doing me a disservice. As if the dream knows what I don't like to experience. The interesting thing is that this phobia is something that I have, that I feel and I have never experienced it in reality. It started with video games and then in dreams. I remember, it was 2002/2003 and I was playing GTA VC as a 12-13 year old. I was sailing in a speedboat and suddenly I noticed sunken container ships under the water. I felt uneasy and moved away from that place. To this day, I am not fond of that place and try not to look underwater.

My husband was recently given an old photo that contained several family members one of which was his Grandfather. To me he looked to be mid sixties but checking dates he was only 55. That's 1 year older than my husband is now.
When I was turning 40 one of my co-workers was surprised and said she thought I was her age which turn out to be 10 years younger.

When I went to live in England as a youngin, people called me Nicholas pronouncing the s at the end while in Belgium where I hail from the s is silent. So basically the way my name was "originally" pronounced for me equates to the feminine version of the name in English. As it happens when I got to school in England, there was indeed in my class a girl named Nicola making it all the more confusing for little ol me. I was young and this made my wires twitch more than it reasonably should, today I wouldn't care one way or the other but at that time it bugged me. Luckily, there was solution to this horrendous problem.. for me Nick was the way to go. And thus was born Nick the belgium boy.
