Love Jason (& the 400 Unit). He has a very deep rabbit hole of songs for you to discover. His songwriting is amazing and you won’t be surprised to learn he was greatly inspired by, and became friends with John Prine.
If there is any artist that is 100% worth diving into, this is the guy right here. Believe me. Hes the greatest song writer of this generation. You won't be disappointed.
Censored and truncated tv show appearances are not the ideal way to get the scope of what Jason’s music is about. Hope you continue into more of his material. He’s a top tier songwriter with a knack memorable turns of phrase and lyrical gut punches. Don’t sleep on his guitar skills, either.

I dont love all Jason's stuff, but still many top-tier songs. "If we were vampires" is a Prine-esque favorite of mine. His earlier band Drive-by Truckers has some killer more rock songs...enjoy.
