Needle needs correct fabric and correct thread match are also required. Youur fabric or yarn may be wrong.

This is a punch needle, your actually meant to display the other side of the work, which has loops and looks kinda rug like. This use is not recommended as you can easily lose stitches, but if you can manage it you can apply glue to the loopy side and then it's stable.
