That's young John Travolta for you. He did the dance parts all himself not using a body double or stunt like they did in another famous movie of the era. This clip presents also Andy Gibb, the youngest of the brothers who had a career of his own, biggest hit being "Shadow Dancing".

Lots of memories with this song. Rare seeing all 4 brothers on stage. The boys could play.

The Bee Gees are my all time favorite group! The excerpts are from the movie "Saturday Night Fever" for which the Bee Gees wrote the entire soundtrack. It was the greatest soundtrack of all time for several years. Please try "To Love Somebody" "Jive Talking" and "Surrender".

That dance floor with the lights still exists and sold for 1.2 million at auction a few years ago.

What they did is amazing. We're talking To Love Somebody in 1967 to rocket skyward to How Can You Mend A Broken Heart in 1970, then falling off the Earth, then coming back with R@B in 1974, then the falsetto taking stage in 1975, then full falsetto on this album and rising to the top of the disco era. Pretty unbelievable.

I loved watching your face when the really good parts of the song works it's magic. This is one of my favorite dance songs, ever. The sound effects are wonderful. The percussion is beautiful. The dancer is from clips of the movie "Saturday Night Fever" and was a cultural and surprise phenomena. This movie was the catalyst that pushed "Disco" to the forefront of American culture and music.

Hi my dear pet caring, music loving Nigerian beauty... I think it was me, who suggested this song to you in the comments of your reaction video to "Night fever", right ? :-) It was so much fun seeing you enjoying this song. I knew you would love it, that's why I suggested it to you. Also try out "Staying alive", antoher disco killer song from them. And I wonder when you will upload my Al Stewart suggestion...
Hugs and kisses from your friend Gerry

Bee Gees disco era was amazing. How Deep is Your Love, More then a Woman, Tragedy, Night Fever - great fun all of them. I also loved Just an Illusion by Imagination - and Gloria covered by Umberto Tozzi is amazing. Wish I had been old enough for the clubs of the 70s. Thank you!

Please check out Bee Gees: I Can't See Nobody Melbourne 1974 The song is from 1967, but this video is one of the best live performances of the song. They also have other songs from the 1960s into the 1970s, like Lonely Days, Massachusetts, I Gotta Get a Message To You, Holiday, etc. There is also videos of them as younger children going back to 1960.

I don’t see any U2 in your play list and admit I haven’t scrolled through all your videos (to many), so if you have listened to them, my apologies. All I Want Is You/Where The Streets Have No Name is a good introduction to this SUPER group.
