That position at the local teen court sounds incredible. I think you might be underestimating how impressive that one was to the colleges. BTW I like your t-shirt. Did your parents get you into Van Halen?
Could you also give more advice to high school students (10th grade) about how to get more involved before college/ college applications? I am not sure if that made sense?
All of these are things she built up you should start things u want to do more of now and build up until ur in college apps time. do volunteering a lot and try to create some initiatives outside of school.

Do you think I can put weightlifting on the activity section when I do it outside of school? My school doesn't have a weightlifting team, but I weightlift outside of school

i think u should do a seminar class or a research class if ur school offers them since those are the two closest courses to take instead of taking a capstone course
