- We have done the lot across Yorkshire and beyond at Christmas time - Sundown Adventureland (2022), Stockeld Park (2022), Winter Illuminations at Yorkshire Wildlife Park (2021) - but just pipping Christmas at Sundown Adventureland, our favourite experience over the last two Christmases was Piglets Adventure Farm (2021) which is in Towthorpe just outside of York.
The Magical Sleigh Ride and Santa’s Woodland Village were just brilliant. A sleigh ride farm style to see Santa, an early Christmas present in Santa’s toy shop, make your own reindeer food, visit the elf show and you get to send your letter to Santa for what you would like on Christmas Day.
Along with all that, there is mulled wine and mince pies for the adults! The best Christmas experience and the best value for money in Yorkshire area and just outside - ideally for children around 8 and under. Was absolutely superb.
Parking was easy, the whole experience was just easy. Highly recommended.
