This was a great video. would love to see you walk through even more pertaining to the bar riser situation and if you had to extend the cables at all. as well as look over the foot pegs and other aspects of the bike you have adjusted. looks great man great build
Crikey ! thanks for checking out the video Tanner ! Glad you like what I’ve done to it, been watching all your CRF content and love your mods too ! They really are a great bike with a bit of work 👍
Nice bike I was torn between the 250f and 250x and I saw an British bloke on TH-cam recommend me a crf 250x for the power and torque channel is called Tokyo offroad
Awesome bike dude! You've given a lot of people some sweet inspiration. I'm meaning to fix mine up with some upgrades as well and I'm really liking the way the rims look on it. Is your front rim the same size as factory or did you change it for the wider tire?
Thanks very much Josh, really glad you like it 👍 Awesome bikes with a bit of personalisation thrown in for sure ! The front rim is a standard size factory or aftermarket 👌
hey mate, ripper looking bike. was there any reason other than cost that you didn't buy rims already with spokes installed. wouldn't a 250R wheel set fit on this? cheers
It’s a Michelin Starcross 5 Soft 90/100-21. Great front tyre as it has a slightly higher side wall for enduro/trail riding which gives it a plusher ride and more protection for the rim from damage. Great traction and they last surprisingly well 👍
Just curious if taking all theres parts and peices to be redone and modified at shops would it be cheaper to buy a different bike? I own a 250f and i love it. Im just curious
You have to remember that this bike is nearly half the price of the bigger bikes and no matter what bike you buy most people will add their personal touch to them. Pipe, bars, wheels, suspension set up for your weight and riding style etc ! $5K trail bike or a $15K competition bike your going to buy shit for it ! Dirt bikes are a huge passion of mine so the amount spent to make it better and look great is irrelevant if it makes you happy Ride with a big smile on your face, I do 😬
Hello sir, did you had to do any modifications to fuel mapping or air intake to accomodate the exhaust ? If not, does it run better or worst ? Is it noticable ?
No, doesn’t backfire, Yoshi tuned the pipe so we didn’t need to remap the bike 👌 Have a look at their website. Did you open up the air box and put a twin air filter in it ?
Mate, just go to a Honda dealership and order a 2023 HRC racing left and right sticker. Thats all I did. Same for the Yoshi, ordered thru the same Honda dealer 👍
Hey Tim, Can you tell us what the cost was to do those rims? Can you also get a parts list from the people that did them? Would like to price it out here in Canada. Thanks. They look so good
About $1,000 Australian dollars, I don’t have a parts list but as per video all the information is there for you to talk to a wheel shop or a bike shop to get the parts needed. Looks great alright, for sure eh 😂 🇨🇦😘
Hey mate Bretto from Winkie S.A Just wondering who did the rim mods struggling to find anyone in Adelaide who advertises for similar work. Not going to copy 😂looking at gold for mine. Cheers Brett
Ash’s spoked wheelz in Brisbane, give them a call . Copy away mate, it would be an honour 🕺🏻 they look fantastic in real life, Honda should have done this in the first place !
I'm considering buying a set of black rims on the internet and installing them myself. Is it necessary to upgrade the back spokes? And what size nipples you used? Thanks mate, I really enjoy your 250f vids, the bike looks sick 👍👍
You can absolutely still use your original spokes in the back wheel, I just took the wheel shop advice and went bigger spokes. The nipple size will be different to mine because of the original spokes, I would get the rim and go from there. Thanks for liking the videos, it is a great trail bike for sure 🍻
@@TeamBennyRides Thanks mate for the responce. I love the bike, it's a total tractor but it's just too fun and easy to ride. It will look even better once I get black rims and that sexy HRC sticker lol.
wish the us model came with the headlight! gotta rig up a light bar for mine
😢
Dude that's so cool. I never considered just a wider rim on my rear wheel. Excellent idea.
Glad we could help !
Nice bike! I just ordered supermoto wheels and tires for mine. I also added a tusk street legal kit. Doing the gearing next.
Nice !
Please let me know what you do with teh gearing I want to get more out of mine
This was a great video. would love to see you walk through even more pertaining to the bar riser situation and if you had to extend the cables at all. as well as look over the foot pegs and other aspects of the bike you have adjusted. looks great man great build
Cables were fine, risers covered in Benny’s other Honda mods and upgrades video 👍
Glad you like it, thanks for your kind words mate
Thank you for the information, these are great bikes.
Easy and fun bike, glad you liked the video
Looks so damn good! Will be doing this soon.
Thanks for the comment… Couple of simple things completely changes the look of the bike !
Crikey ! thanks for checking out the video Tanner ! Glad you like what I’ve done to it, been watching all your CRF content and love your mods too ! They really are a great bike with a bit of work 👍
@@TeamBennyRides Do you happen to remember which bike the rear spokes were for?
Do you happen to remember which bike the rear spokes were for?
They are off a standard CRF250R/450R
Any 18 inch rear wheel spokes, nothing special at all 👍
Love that Build. Does it have Tubliss by any chance?

Hi, I am looking to get the same bike. Can you help me out with what exactly I should ask when I take the suspension into the shop?
Mate ! Show your suspension shop this video ! If they don’t know what to do go to another one that does !
Good luck, let us know how you get on 👍
hey mate, ripper looking bike. was there any reason other than cost that you didn't buy rims already with spokes installed. wouldn't a 250R wheel set fit on this? cheers
i think so, i’m going to buy this bike and just buy a set of 250R wheels, i’ll let you know how it goes😂
Can you add links to these products in the Description?
Good stuff, clean build.
Thanks Eric, so is yours mate 😉
Nice vid. I like your trolley/stand. Guessing you made them?
Sure did mate, built them to suit each bike height as well so they are solid as, light and super easy to move around 👌
What size tire do you have in the front?
It’s a Michelin Starcross 5 Soft 90/100-21. Great front tyre as it has a slightly higher side wall for enduro/trail riding which gives it a plusher ride and more protection for the rim from damage.
Great traction and they last surprisingly well 👍
2023 HRC stickers! (Not 2022)🤦♂️
Sorry viewers
Love the sticker on the side, can’t find tho
@@patrickstas6403
They are factory HRC sticker from the 2023 Honda range. Go to your local Honda dealer and order a left and right from a CRF450R.
Just curious if taking all theres parts and peices to be redone and modified at shops would it be cheaper to buy a different bike? I own a 250f and i love it. Im just curious
No way ! If you are talking specifically about suspension, that doesn't cost a lot.

@Tim H can't argue with that lol
Beautiful bike!
What about the skid plate, is it plastic or aluminum? What brand?
Aluminium, genuine Honda part
L08BP250F
Check out some of the earlier videos on the Honda, it is mentioned there 👍
Hello sir, did you had to do any modifications to fuel mapping or air intake to accomodate the exhaust ? If not, does it run better or worst ? Is it noticable ?
No remapping
Did the exhaust and or rims shave any weight off the bike?
Yea it did 👍
With you’re Yoshimura do you have to tune it? Because mine backfires
No, doesn’t backfire, Yoshi tuned the pipe so we didn’t need to remap the bike 👌 Have a look at their website.
Did you open up the air box and put a twin air filter in it ?
Thanks for the info!
Do you know the part numbers for the rims, spoke and nipples?
No, sorry I don’t.
Uncle google will help with that, I just picked them up from the shop and paid the bill 👍
What’s the link to the sticker? And where’d u get the pipe?
Mate, just go to a Honda dealership and order a 2023 HRC racing left and right sticker. Thats all I did.

Yes I priced it out here similarly in Canada $1000
whats your sprocket size????
13/51 Perfect for the tighter single trails and hill climbs, still has good top end speed too
Hey bud, love the bike and the video! Which wheel shop did you use in Oz? Cheers
Ash’s spoked wheelz in Brisbane 👌
where did u get the spoke nipples for the bike, which website im getting the rims but i need the nipples for it
Everything was done at the wheel shop I took it to, they did everything, Google wheel shop and give them a call in your area maybe 👍
Where did you get the fork covers?
Pretty sure they are from a different model Honda have you watched both videos ? I think Tim may mention it in the other video.
@@bennyrides ok, thank you 😊
Honda dealer, crf 250/450 front fork guards
what tyres are on that? im looking at doing up my 2023 crf250f
Michelin Starcross 5 softs mate , brilliant traction 👌
What handlebar are you running?
They are actually pro taper bars,
Henry/Reed bend 👍
What handguards are those ? Thanks
Cycra Pro bend
You think you can just spray paint rims ?
I guess you could, I’ve heard of people powder coating them too but you still have to de spoke them to paint or powder coat the original rims
Where did you get your exhaust mate? Can’t find one anywhere
Just ordered through a motorcycle store.
Ya beauty!!

2023 HRC Stickers, I stuffed up 🤦♂️
Why did you not use larger spocks in the front tire?
Does the headlight on all the time or it have a switch?
No switch, on all the time
