Beat Making & Freestyle #1 | MPC Studio Black | Hip Hop

I woke up and wanted to try something new. I wanted to challenge myself to produce a good beat, write some lyrics, record some vocals over the beat, Then mix it all in one day. I did that.
The video also shows the full power of MPC software. I produced the beat which is at the top in Red and yellow displaying the musical notes. Then right below that is the audio section where I recorded and mixed my vocals.
If you look further left you will see the effects the I applied to my vocal. I've been recording my own vocals since I was using a webcam microphone and stocking cap as a pop filter back in like 2004.
Audio 001 - is the vocal audio that you're hearing for the intro and verse.
Audio 002 - is a reference take the is on mute but was one of the better takes for the direction leading to the final recording.
Audio 3 - is the Midi section of the beat (The red and yellow notes at the top) Mixed down with master effects.
