It could be a best of 100, it doesn't matter. It was abundantly clear going in that Boston is in a whole different class than Dallas is. Its beyond me how people were seriously picking Dallas. I want Dallas to win, but never thought for a second that they actually would.
If Boston is going to live with Horford switches onto Luka, Luka has to torch him and force doubles. This is the only adjustment that matters. If a team is going to single cover a superstar, that superstar has to cook for 40+ on elite efficiency until the other team blinks and starts sending doubles. If Luka can’t force doubles, the Mavs lose. The end.
@@Gg-kf6ng it honestly doesn’t matter if it is Horford or KP… if Boston is going to switch everything, and refuse to double, he’s got to torch the single coverage. They can’t win if he doesn’t. Stars have to force double teams. That’s their primary offensive function
Don't think the Celtics will double him regardless. They are willing to live with the ISO scoring as long as they can disrupt the reads for the lobs and corner 3's
Okay woah what are you guys talking about it has only been one game. One game. Calm down I feel like you guys are way overreacting. Also this podcast is mostly about Dallas and there defense counters. Lmao. Man competition brings out the dark side in people

Its no slight to Luka either, he's still better than everyone else regardless of what happens, but Boston is just so much better overall that that won't even matter.
God forbid Mav fans exist. As if Boston fans weren't talking a ton of trash, lol. People look at the blowout and forget to realize six minutes in the first quarter decided the game. Quarters 2-4 was 70-69. Mavs made an adjustment, but it was too late and they couldn't come back from the excellent six minutes Boston had in the first quarter. The rest of the game was even. +1 to Boston.
@duplexarco Facts don’t care about your feelings little guy, they had the #1 defense in the league since the all-star break. And also, we’re the Timberwolves too young to beat the defending champ Nuggets? Your comment exudes stupidity and ignorance.
@@duplexarco Mavs played against flawed teams like the Wolves and Thunder. They were forcing non-shooters on those series. And people crapping on Celtics about beating teams with injuries but Clippers was missing their best player. lol

I can't imagine how tired he was and the way that game was going I would rather him have his pockets picked multiple times as opposed to the ball being in anyone else's hands. It was just a pathetic showing from everyone else
The Celtics have 5 guys that can score 20+ any given night. Dallas doesn't. KP doesn't even need to score like he did the rest of the series. All he needs to do is play defense like he did, just like Brown, Holiday, and White, even Tatum. If the Celtics bring that type of defensive intensity for 3 more games, they will the championship.
Dallas' defense was fine. #1: It totally locked up Tatum #2: It forced Brown to be a strict scorer (multiple missed FTs) #3: It kept KP's possessions at 18-feet or greater #4: It lured Boston into settling for 3-pointers (≈ 50 attempts!) Dallas is going to win game 2. Sunday at 8:00 PM EST
You guys are so delusional 😂. After KP went off, the game was pretty much over. Nobody had to really take over and score. You can just match buckets when you’re up 20 plus!
You have to watch the game to see the Mavericks missed a lot of open shots. They had 9 assist total. Doncic usually has at least 8 assist. He only had 1 in the game. They played a lot of iso and made the support cast play 1v1. Luka and Kyrie are the only ones on the team who can play iso and Kyrie played bad. Celtics did a good job of forcing them to play iso. I think the Mavs will clean it up game 2 tbh. But if they dont, they in trouble.
what?/ now you accept that boston is well tested 😂😂 boston is tested by pacers fast pace game, heat's zone and ball fake foul hunt, maybe its a sweeping trash, you need two more bodies to play defense for luka and kyries in ability to defend.
Jason kidd just said Jaylen Brown is the Celtics best player. Ok Mr. Kidd, if jaylen is the best why are you double teaming Jason every time he touches the ball ?????? He's just playing mind games. Dallas's only chance is kyrie and Luca showing up for 6 games. And even then that doesn't garrentee winning. Celtics in 7🍀
People don't seem to be listening. Boston played better than they played against Pacers. Dallas played worse than they played against Minnesota. If both go to a medium, the game will be different. Yes, peak Boston will easily beat mediocre Dallas. The question is whether peak Dallas will beat mediocre Boston, or whether even mediocre Boston is better than peak Dallas. We've had one game. We need to see more to know. As Legs said: by midway through game 2, the picture should be clearer.

The end.
Having KP fit reduces Horford minutes hence he could defend Luka more efficiently
@@Gg-kf6ngkp can’t guard Fluka on the perimeter bro. Al can porzingas is better for the paint and to stop lobs
@@Gg-kf6ng it honestly doesn’t matter if it is Horford or KP… if Boston is going to switch everything, and refuse to double, he’s got to torch the single coverage. They can’t win if he doesn’t. Stars have to force double teams. That’s their primary offensive function
@@WhyYouMadd40 yup. Horford is actually better in space than KP
Don't think the Celtics will double him regardless. They are willing to live with the ISO scoring as long as they can disrupt the reads for the lobs and corner 3's
For some reason people arent speaking about bostons heartbean aka Jalen Brown, that guys special
Disappointed at Leg's irrational glazing over Dallas. This is right here the result of being emotional over being rational as an analyst
Really disappointed ngl thought he was better than that too bad he's now in his feels about Dallas
For real, I always looked at legs as on of the most objective and unbiased analyst. This hard on he has for dallas is so bizarre
Okay woah what are you guys talking about it has only been one game. One game. Calm down I feel like you guys are way overreacting. Also this podcast is mostly about Dallas and there defense counters. Lmao. Man competition brings out the dark side in people
Relax bro 😂 you too dramatic
Dang bruh. Yall be in your feelings when someone has an unpopular take.
If the Mavs don't defend the perimeter and continue to pack the paint as always, they gonna get overwhelmed by Boston 3-point shooting
Can’t they’ll get punished at the rim. Dallas ran Minnesota off the perimeter but they struggle scoring they miss layups Boston doesn’t
Where are the Mavs fan hiding their faces now as they know Mavs are in serious trouble after game 1
Fans can still life in reality though. I want Dallas to win but I was fully expecting Boston to win this series in 4 or 5 games. Mavs fans who actually thought Dallas could win are delusional.
@@davecep I'd maybe give you that if they didnt pull their starters with 5 left in the 4th... down 25... yeah sure you won the fourth bud
@@shmid420 Everyone is cocky when they choose the favorite and win. So brave.
@@davecep womp womp
Luka can cook anyone pffttt everyone's forget luka cant Dunk or block his like fat boy that can shoot
Everyone crying about those travel calls on Lively and Kyrie but not a word about Lukas up and down against 4 defenders
Their defense was fine outside of the first quarter. Their defense looked much worse in game 1 of the OKC series.
Mavs have defense? Did not see it in their whole playoff run. All of team they faced were either too young or choked
And people crapping on Celtics about beating teams with injuries but Clippers was missing their best player. lol
@@suiken3149 Clippers best player is Viv Stringer
It's 1 game. Don't overreact. Series doesn't start till someone loses at home.
Offense is the concern
Dallas Mavericks? Defense? Those two are night and day folks...
I understand that there were points when Luca didn't make great plays and got the ball stolen straight out from under him but we have to realize this guy is the only person on the entire team doing anything at all.
#1: It totally locked up Tatum
#2: It forced Brown to be a strict scorer (multiple missed FTs)
#3: It kept KP's possessions at 18-feet or greater
#4: It lured Boston into settling for 3-pointers (≈ 50 attempts!)
Dallas is going to win game 2.
Sunday at 8:00 PM EST
Superb defense, how come you didn't mention rebounds?
Lol locked up Tatum he literally drove and kicked it out for the corner three 60 percent of the time lol
You guys are so delusional 😂. After KP went off, the game was pretty much over. Nobody had to really take over and score. You can just match buckets when you’re up 20 plus!
I can’t wait to see how everybody turns on Porzingis 😂😂😂😂
You have to watch the game to see the Mavericks missed a lot of open shots. They had 9 assist total. Doncic usually has at least 8 assist. He only had 1 in the game. They played a lot of iso and made the support cast play 1v1. Luka and Kyrie are the only ones on the team who can play iso and Kyrie played bad. Celtics did a good job of forcing them to play iso. I think the Mavs will clean it up game 2 tbh. But if they dont, they in trouble.
What are the chances man, like the hosts last name is Lowe and he's on a podcast called The Lowe Post... crazy!!
I really hope your being sarcastic 😂
what?/ now you accept that boston is well tested 😂😂 boston is tested by pacers fast pace game, heat's zone and ball fake foul hunt, maybe its a sweeping trash, you need two more bodies to play defense for luka and kyries in ability to defend.
This is a horrible matchup for Dallas. The Celtics spacing is what sets them apart on the offensive end.
All these clowns like Legler are mad Mavs are getting owned... Cry more.
Go down the aisle after Celtics comes Clown so your right at Home

I respect Legs for staying true to Fluka but it’s over in 5. The whole tune gone change after tmrw night 😂😂😂 they really think Boston is The clippers or the young inexperienced OKC team. JB JT Jrue and Derek not going for none of that. These boys play up n down to their competition. FLuka can’t hide this series bc all these boys can score we need to see the FLuka defense y’all swear he played 😂😂😂 he really JB son
Dallas could lose the next 3 games by 50 and it wouldn't change the fact that Luka is still significantly better than anyone else in the series. Boston is just way too good overall. Switch Brown with Luka and Boston would never lose a game.
Celtics in 6
The real questions is what can the mavs to different? The Answer is nothing... the Celtics are the better team, the deeper team. They can ALL guard. Horford was on Kyrie multiple times and Kyrie only scored on him ONCE!! The Celtics will win in 5. The Celtics are just too good.
Funny how all these analysts were saying how Luka and Kyrie were unstoppable , now they're talking about getting Hardaway Jr. more minutes... my god..
wouldve couldve shouldve defense will be there
thank you I have been getting killed by the casuals for telling them you cannot win playing Maxie, Tim, and Dwight now maybe the casuals will listen and learn
Everyone knows LUKA is lazy on defense, just like LeBron. OVERRATED AND OVER PAID
Dallas can try but it won’t work .. i give them one game
Mavs going fishing 🎣
I feel like the nba needs a new league for teams like Boston. Like a super league. Its insane how good they are
Definitely getting prime gsw vibes
Dallas helped too much on defense, and didn't utilize the fact that the Celtics aren't help defending on their guys
Boston homer page!
Please give THJ more minutes lmfaoooooo
KeyStops ProZingis
Exum needs to get more minutes
I forget about Dante Exum the most often of any rotation player in the league 😏😏
SO true! He's a bigger and better defender than Green/Hardy, leads the league in 3PT%, and is the Mav's best playmaker outside of Kyrie and Luka. He's being WASTED on the bench like this
The Mavs can win the series if 2 Celtic stars get hurt like what happened to GS against the Raptors. Other than that, Celtics in 4 or 5.
Pissed
It’s simple
Celtics have better players
And they are the smarter team
Against the warriors they were more talented but no smarter
