Well done fellas. Great to get on the shiny. Thanks for the mention Luke. World wide phenomenon that people over here don’t fill in their holes either. Very disappointing. Good luck on the next outing 😁👍👍
Thanks heaps @TheCoffeeBushKid what a ripper of a hunt this was🙂 It sure is a shame ppl not filling their holes back in too. If we can put enough effort in to dig them...we should always fill them back again! Very disappointing indeed. Thanks again mate, take care until our next🤝🙂
Another super succesfull day out on the gold this one @derekthomassen5407 even Andrew scoring a few nuggies is always great to see! Plenty more to find with that new Goldhawk combo to im sure! Thanks heaps again Derek, until next time mate👍🤝⛏️
It's a good day when the gold comes out @Working925detecting but an even better day when both Andrew and i get to take some home. I especially love the L nugget that he got on this hunt👌 Cheers heaps mate👍⛏️
Excellent capabilities with the coil, Luke, good advice on the grounds and especially the safety tip. The Chinese were called Celestials in the gold-rush, from the meaning - "of the sun" - makes sense with the Empire Of The Sun, not just an Aussie band's name. They didn't leave much gold behind, and the cash-coins with the square holes are thought to have been left deliberately, often vertically, for good luck. They're still finding millions of these in China, whole bank vaults buried, from the many wars that were fought over the centuries, but I suspect they're like American pennies, stacks minted, used only once and then into a jar, or dropped and lost, like our brown buggers, I suppose. Golds add up better - you'd believe it that it was hard for us to state that so simply! 😅 Missed joining the live chat, birthday partying too hard with our 4 year old niece. 🕺Good luck out again, Luke, Andrew too, best regards Helena, Zaz and Dom, also the regulars, such a good community fostered together with Dig It Detecting. Many cheers!
Thanks so much for watching @gabivalla6279 it's always a great day out hunting when both bringing home the gold😁 I always love reading your comments to. Well written and always informatively interesting. The Chinese were certainly good at getting the gold back in the day as you mention. Countless times I've read about how others left a "worked" area, only for the Chinese to come in and find a tonne more gold! Take care until our next awesome adventure Gabi, and a BIG Happy 4th Birthday to your niece😊 Party on Wayne...Party on Garth😎😁🤘
Nice going Luke....unfortunately a lot of us can't afford the 6000, maybe show the difference between the 4500 or less expensive detectors maybe with the newer coils Thanks for sharing your videos Cheers mate 👍😎✌
They sure are expensive @gavinhogg6552 I'm in the same boat to mate. It was years before I was able to get the 6000 but unfortunately now don't have access to a 4500 to compare. We will have to use Andrew's 5000 and do a few more tests in future videos to show how they stack up against each other. Plus, some testing of the VLF machines to see how they operate on the gold also🙂 Cheers heaps for watching Gavin, take care until our next adventure mate👍⛏️
Thanks heaps @evannicholson2823 awesome to hear that you're enjoying the vids mate! Plenty more to come hinting the gold, plus more coins and relics with the Manticore👌 I can't wait to share. Cheers heaps again man. Take care until the next🤝⛏️
That would be super handy to have @louwallace4139 Time extensions all day long then😄 The coiltek coil is sure paying itself off quickly too. A great upgrade for the 6000. Best of luck and happy digging out there🙂⛏️
Luke, my question isn't related to this video, but is related to finding small gold jewelry. A neighbor dropped a small gold earring between her front door and their car while trying to go to church. I couldn't even detect the remaining earring with the detector I had with me the day I tried to find the earring. I was using a primarily coin-detecting detector. Now I have an Equinox 800 -- do you think that it will be able to find the earring, I'm guessing in one of the gold modes?
Hi there @bobvines00 a great question mate. The Equinox you now have, I am certain, will be able to find that lost gold ear ring. No need to put it in gold mode either. Park mode 1 will still find it. However I would be dropping the sensitivity down to around 10 or so if only just lost recently. That way, if it's still sitting on or near the surface, then running a low sensitivity will stop you hearing all the deeper older targets in the ground. I really hope it helps. Best of luck and happy hunting🙂⛏️
Are you able to show the difference between that machine & the Nox & the Manticore. Obviously the one you have is better with gold but can the other machines hear the sounds?
I have tried testing the Equinox 900 on the tiny pieces of gold @CindyBushell but it is very hard to differentiate between the mixed signals it throws with the iron stone and mineralization in the ground. That said the Nox and Manticore will find gold...just have to dig lots of targets to get it🙂 Something I can show more of in future on video for sure😊⛏️

Killer combo indeed Luke
Doesn't miss a thing @thegoldrushguy and runs super quite! I love it. I won't be taking the 9" Coiltek Coil off the 6000 in a hurry👌
Love your videos mate, keep up the good work, definitely looking forward to the next, cheers 👍👍👍

Hell,, I still can't believe that huge one you found before 👀
It's certainly going to be a hard one to beat @GSG-lc5zm hopefully if I put enough work in, I can snag it's brother also😁⛏️
