How can I stop the color bleeding with the easy color when it’s washed per directions? I also make sure I use the standard a normal paper settings on my printer (Epson 8550 ET). I also make sure to let the print sit for a week before I pressed it.
Nope! We just recommend that you wait at least 72 hours before washing after your design is applied. This will help the ink "cure" and increase the longevity of your designs!
I’ve followed the instructions and still get bleeding when washing. What could be the problem? I wait at least 36 hours before pressing and longer than that for the first wash.
Hey @danyelle87! It sounds like you may be using a high-color print setting that uses more ink than usual. We'd suggest trying a different print setting, or allowing your design to "cure" for at least 72 hours after pressing before the first wash. If you're still having issues, please feel free to contact our support team at support@siserna.com!
Thank you for the information Patrick!
Thank you, will be using the easy color dtv soon.
I will be using this this weekend
I've experienced the bleeding of my colors as well. I will change my print quality. Thanks for the tips.
REPLAY-THANKS

Does the DTV need to be sealed after printing to prevent fading?
I'd love to know if anyone has success in preventing fading and cracking after a few washes.

Is this the same as heat transfer paper? When you're printing the design I'm wondering why you need different colours 🤷♀️
This is a fully printable material. You simply load it into your home desktop cutter and then print and cut your design :)
