Oh my God! Im so glad to see my course here :D I feel so proud of myself now! Glad you liked it, maybe I can make some more in the future then ;) P.S.: Your idea about building a driftcar from scratch seems nice, a lot has changed since 2 years in terms of game mechanics. Also my driftcar ain't perfect whatsoever, it lacks any suspension (due to aesthetics) , which affects drifting capabilities a bit, there is still room for improvement (yet my attempts to implement suspension were complete failure, so maybe you can pull this off?). So go ahead, I would be pleased to see that!
@@ihavstupid9232 Yeah, why not :D Red some comments down below, seems like u guys are kinda up to some drifting, so may do some new drift maps later on (or upgrade the Hell Ride, so this 1 Scrapman has tested).

22:31 yes, it was. but you did kinda alright and the second to last car you subscribed to (the grey black one with the Monster Energy theme) can drift but only if you accelerate and steer at the same time, many drift cars have this in Trailmakers so that means you just have to slow down again.
You should try driving, in general in trailmakers, with a controller, it works really well. And through the fire and flames, im pretty sure only some of us got that... Also YES to revisit drift car!
You should keep trying to find/build the ultimate drift car. Pls keep going because drifting is such an interesting and complicated mechanic for a game.
how to drift? First, make the car slide. Second, before spinning out counter steer. Third, Control the throttle (e.g. Tap Over and over again. tap at random) once done enough you will know the feeling on when to tap the gas or not to. Fourth, Control the steering, if you are at a small angle turn hard to wide counter steer hard. Other then that practice. :)
That one car that you said wasn't a drift car was actually a recreation of one of the most famous drift cars in the world. The Hoonicorn is the name 1,400 hp is the game
the one based only on physics is the most "realistic" one as u have to countersteer etc ,if you had more experience u would've nailed it and the recommended one even tough its kinda assisting you and the thrusters in the back look like back fire ,overall good video idea expecting more of it
I think best way for drifting is to slightly slow down, then just as you enter the turn floor it and turn the wheel in the opposite direction of the turn, for example if you go left then turn right, that is that's the way it works on dirt and slick tracks.

Hey Scrapman here’s a tip from me. So since I’m acc really good at driving and when yr trying to turn make sure that u always go to the outer side not the inner side and wen u cut the turn closer u always crash so always turn/drift on the outer side of the course
Irl you can both go out to in or in to out, depends on your style wether your doing it to go round the corner as fast as you can rally styles or doing it for style points
Real life drift cars have more weight at the back to help with their turns and lower friction wheels, so they can slide easier. The engine and heavier parts of a car is what keeps the vehicle from flipping in real life, you could simulate the weight of an actual drift car by adding uniform weights and just having heavier weights in the rear, you will have to fine tune the weights to where it doesn't spin out and etc.
