The Steel on this blade properties are absolutely amazing. This blade can stand in line with the big boys! This steel on these new TwoSuns are in the same league of your $500-$900 knives these other companies are selling their work for. At the end of the day people that are spending that kind of money ….in my opinion over paying for a good knife. I really feel like it’s more of an elitist thing, or an accessory for those knife owners. To each their own though. Everyone loves to collect what they like to collect. I am somewhat of a collector, but I’m definitely more like Tim. I like the way a knife looks, feels, runs, and actually works out in the field. I enjoy the aesthetics and the artistry of the engineers. And of course I love engraving and customizing great pieces of engineering as well. Great video as always Tim, you are the best!

This TS444 looks like one of the few color anodized models with decent grip/purchase due to aggressive milling. Good to know. I have yet to get me a Twosun in this blade steel because of the higher prices associated with it. The non-functional blade hole bothers me a little, but not a deal breaker.
Regarding the overall Twosun collecting “process”, I totally relate to that. Discovering new designs, a wide price range to work with, trying to get the lowest bid possible in the auctions, the wait for delivery, and then finally getting my hands on to inspect. Most for a price within my reach. Not every piece is a home run, but that’s also part of the fun for me. I think every Twosun collector can relate. Thanks again for sharing!

Got one on the way, can't wait to feel the grip

Pulled the trigger with the current market price, over 100, this one wasn't a steal purchase pricing but I had to lock one in before they become unavailable at auction and elsewhere

Ordered the grey, seller messaged that they out of stock and offered the colored ti version, so I went with it, not a big fan of these anodized colored deals, but I said let's move forward with the available option which is the one you have in the vid. I'm guessing g the grey has a different feel since the anodized ones are kinda smoother frommwhat I gather in your vids. If I don't like the feel, I saw some vids on removing the anodizing with dipping in a corrosive acid for a few seconds. Hey, well see how it goes when I get it. Cheers

Yeah man, nice looking piece! Glad you’re getting these early, so we don’t get cut fingers! Good job.

Very cool knife if only TwoSun put the lockbar cutouts on the inside would be almost perfect knife

Got the blue ano version a while back in the proprietary steel, got another one now in 154cm in grey, love it. Its light, slim, snappy, smooth. The 154 version will be getting pocket time for sure and the nicer one on nicer days. To badd about the flick hole, its rough, but i like this one allot overall and backflip is fine for me. very unique. Maybe getting a 3rd one with the brown ano if they go on sale.

Sucks they don’t put cut outs for the Spydi flick, has turned me off from multiple models. A lot of their knives are aesthetically pleasing but only one deployment method. I’m a figitor, need a hole or thumb stud that is actually usable.

This one looks good, but no over travel stop on the lock is a killer. Good review and disassembly video. Thanks

CORRECTION: The pocket clip does provide over travel protection.

My bad,... I didn't actually say that it didn't have a over travel stop, I said it wasn't built into the steel insert.. but I was about as clear as the red river... muddy water. The pivot collar is the over travel stop.

I don't see very well from the video, but it seems that it has overtravel stop. And this is that big washer aroun the pivot. Front one is useless, but I think that washer from the back is an overtravel stop.

The one stop pin does both, open and close stop.
