“Gallery wall in the bathroom cuz duh, I live here!” What a hoot 😄 Charming man, charming apartment. Loved seeing the flash of rose medallion tea cups. Now I’m going to go throw a blanket on my sofa for a quick & dirty slipcover 💛
They don't make talent like this anymore! His sense of color, and everything about this man's taste is terrific! He's a symphony of instruments that just all comes together at the right time. My eyes just can't soak in enough of it at one time. Thank you for allowing me to watch the wonderful video. Slowly losing eyesight and it's wonderful to be able to see such cozy and charm.
I love Scott's maximalist approach to a small space. I totally understand not wanting to leave the house when everything you love is so attractively displayed. And the books, the beautiful books! Many blessings to all!
Beautiful, comfy, cozy space. And Scot, i love and have to find and get that beautiful Meacham tartan you designed after your namesake. That golden yellow with red pops and was the first thing I noticed when you entered the room. One can definitely see the Ralph Lauren influence with the relaxed, stylish, lived-in sensibility and layering.
I love that Scot's favorite thing in the entry is the portrait of his mother that hung over the fireplace in their home in Mississippi! It is so nice to be surrounded by loved ones and makes it feel like they are still with us.
@ Mississippi Maximalism, I absolutely agree and feel the same way. And, she is beautiful!! I would love to have Scot do a gallery wall for us, and mom would be the center of it all!
This is a prime example of how curating loved furnishings and accessories over time truly does define a home. I would never have guessed they have only been in this apartment a couple of years.
Many years... Moved the entire houseful from SF to NYC. in Brooklyn 2 years, but the stuff had been collected from all over & over a long time. And long distances! Lol.
Love him! And the apartment is perfect! I want to snuggle on the sofa in green room with coffee and book! Others have mentioned his beautiful mother’s portrait. What a treasure. She’s just lovely!❤
I couldn't stop smiling from beginning to end. I wish it would go on and on and on... With so much to worry about in the world these days, between war, inflation, starvation, and eviction, with prices for us working folks making us wring our hands, I needed a lift, and this video allowed me to forget for a few delightful minutes. What a home. So much, and so many great stories told by such a delightful gentleman. Five Stars*****
Love this home and all the plaid/tartan and the English teatime! Love the red teapot and this gentleman seems like someone you would love to sit and have a cup of tea with! He even made the plate of cookies look beautiful! I love the coziness and all the books! I could read books for hours in the library, all summer long with a glass of ice cold lemonade! Love it all!
I loved this home tour-it’s truly charming and cozy! I really wanted to go in the library, kick off my shoes and read a book for a good long while. Thanks so much for sharing this lovely home. ❤
I absolutely love the apartment tour! Thank you so much for inviting us in, Scott! I knew you must be a southern when you said “y’all” 😊 then my heart skipped a beat at the very end when you set tea. The bamboo tray… the same one all southern ladies had in the 50s and 60s to host parties and serve a crowd. Plates were never on laps, always plenty of those trays to take to the porches and sofas. I can still vividly see my mothers stack of at least a dozen on top of the laundry room fridge. I would love to know if that was also your mothers tray. Great tour!
One individual's "whimsy" is another individual's "hoarder." This place certainly makes an intriguing statement! One more fabulous reason I love this channel so much, looking forward to more!
I love this gentleman and his style , down to his slippers ! This video brought back some lovely 1960s childhood memories. My friend’s mother would drive us from South Orange, NJ into the city to shop …and Abercrombie & Fitch was one of the stores that we all loved the best.
At first i thought it was a bit cluttered, but when he talked about the items and the colors, I started to love it. Love the personal interior design, with a touch of Ralph Lauren. 💕
When I was in high school, I went with my buddy's family to an antique store tucked away in San Francisco. The place was crazy, it was just packed with wild stuff (there was a small case with glass eyes, that I still think about). His apartment reminds me of that store--I left there thinking, "Someday, I am going to have a place just like that!" I've yet to achieve that for my whole home, but my office and TV room shelves are a crazy combination of things that make me happy. His apartment makes me happy.
I just noticed the dog on the garden stool. I have the same dog which was purchased years ago at an antique shop in Tennessee. This apartment must be such a refuge from the bustle of New York. It could easily be a country home in the middle of nowhere. So lovely and inviting.
I love the wallpaper on the bathroom door and, against that darker hallway wall, the white and blue looks so fresh and airy. I really enjoyed this tour. A home of love, treasures and stories ❤
Because of this homeworthy episode, I’ve decided to appreciate my daughter decoration sabbatical style. Kudos to my daughter home style, maximalist and unapologetic.
I have been a maximalist and color proponent for quite a while ( though I hate to reduce taste to simple terms) so I love this guy. Most "simple" stuff makes me fidgety🙂🙂🙃❤️
It looks like they’ve lived there forever! Just wonderful. As a Scot I am astounded at how he made his tartan upholstered pieces and blankets so chic! He also has a fantastic sense of humour.
Love this home 💕I’m also a maximalist. I know it’s in to be a minimalist but I could never make that move. I love beautiful things. And if I had to downsize and choose things to get rid of I don’t think I could. Please show more homes like this!!!💕💕
Fantastic space. Wonderfully colorful walls and textiles. Interesting artwork everywhere. Fabulous collections--the owls and the teacups. Tasteful items juxtaposed with kitschy ones. And books, books, books. My obsession so I love seeing other homes filled with books. But books aside, I loved the whole look and feel of this home. It lives. Thank you for sharing it with us.
Thank you so much for another wonderful tour. I am always excited to see that you've posted a new video. You do a great job of showing everything, letting the host speak, and going slow enough to see all their fabulous collections.
Oh Scott….I just love all of y’all’s color and books and pictures and your meacham sofa is to die for….I want one just like it….you are such a talented guy….I want to be your best friend….one of your four people to come and drink tea…Thankyou for sharing your beautiful home….hugs from carolyn in Columbus ga
I loved the yellow plaid sofa and the owls. I’m a New Yorker living in the Midwest for many years now. I’ll take NY anytime over this. Nice apartment.👍🏼
Wow. This apartment is so interesting. I could look around forever and the way the furniture is arranged in the living room is so exciting. Makes me feel like I’m so boring 🤣🤣🤣
Fabulous! You are so talented Scott. Love your textiles and wallpaper lines and I loved watching this tour! I'll never forget when I moved you shared with me that my paintings would take up less space hung up and I followed your advice - you were right! xxx
Scot, I LOVED, LOVED, LOVED. your beautiful home. It was comfortable, colorful, charming, and interesting - like you. Thank you so much for sharing it with us. DA
You really have the best tours. Every one is just a delight and I watch them repeatedly. And Scott is so charming and real, I want to be one of the 4 people that fit!
It wouldn’t surprise me to learn he designed that entire apartment around mom’s portrait and great-grandma’s quilt. And who doesn’t love that quilt?? That said, with everyone doing stone/quartz/mid-mod/wide grey plank flooringzzzzzzzzzz it’s always refreshing to see someone put their personal signature on their living space. This guy definitely knows what he likes and its genuine so it works. Love the piano transitions, like Mr. Rogers's trolley rolling through.
What a jewel box of an apartment. Love his gallery walls. My favourite! Love his little kitchen!!!! He has more Bialettis than we do, and we’re Italian.😂. Just a gorgeous interesting story book of a home. But?? Where is a dining table? Did I miss it?
When I first saw this video I thought “oh no, awful”. Not my taste. Then as we were taken through the space I began to understand it and by the (all too quick) end, I loved it. 🥰
This home tour surprised me! I don’t tend to love an over abundance of pattern play, however it really worked here with all of the plaids and I really love it!
“Gallery wall in the bathroom cuz duh, I live here!” What a hoot 😄 Charming man, charming apartment. Loved seeing the flash of rose medallion tea cups. Now I’m going to go throw a blanket on my sofa for a quick & dirty slipcover 💛

I laughed out loud when he said the purple gingham lampshade was cobbled together with “a staple gun and anger”. What an absolutely charming gent.
Hi how are you doing?
It appears like a lot of things were done using that technique.
😂😂😂I love that statement
Yes! Anger is the great motivator!😆
I love Scott's maximalist approach to a small space. I totally understand not wanting to leave the house when everything you love is so attractively displayed. And the books, the beautiful books! Many blessings to all!

You can take the boy outta Mississippi, but……. (I married a Mississippi guy.)
The Ralph Lauren influence is strong which I love! He had me at tartan and gingham!
Beautiful, warm, and fun home. I love him too. What a sweet man.
Only two years?!? So much history and sense of “lived in” stuffed into a space they’ve only inhabited for a short period. I absolutely love it!

I love all the different patterns and textures, they all come together and are completely Americana preppy signature aesthetic!
Scott is a delightful interview. And his apartment is charming. He and Drew are surrounded by things that they love.
“A staple gun and anger”…lol! Perfect! Loved seeing this colorful, creative home and the thinking and inspiration behind each corner of it.
Fascinating apartment. It's great when people have individual style, unlike the manufactured looks advertised in many home magazines.
Love this home and all the plaid/tartan and the English teatime! Love the red teapot and this gentleman seems like someone you would love to sit and have a cup of tea with! I absolutely Love this home. Makes me smile to see how much he loves everything in it. Cozy and warm!
Hello 👋 how are you doing?
It's a house where you can feel the individuality of a designer. That's cool!
Another lovely show! I found myself longing to sit down with a cup of tea and hear all of the background of each and every treasure!
I loved this home tour-it’s truly charming and cozy! I really wanted to go in the library, kick off my shoes and read a book for a good long while. Thanks so much for sharing this lovely home. ❤
His mother was BEAUTIFUL 🥰🥰😍
So wonderful, the colors are a feast! Your mom is beautiful.
Delightful man and dwelling! Thank you for sharing…
Love, "it's amazing what anger and a staplegun will...". Delightful man and interesting collection.
A staple gun and some anger. Love him.
I need that on a T-shirt!
I absolutely love the apartment tour! Thank you so much for inviting us in, Scott! I knew you must be a southern when you said “y’all” 😊 then my heart skipped a beat at the very end when you set tea. "The little accessories are just on skates, every night and they'll just land wherever they land." How lovely :)

Oh how I loved the tour. What an amazing place. I love plaids too. Thank you so much, it was delightful.

I love Scott Meachwood! He has so much spirit. 💙💚♥️

This apartment must be such a refuge from the bustle of New York. It could easily be a country home in the middle of nowhere. So lovely and inviting.
If I was in that place I think I would never be bored looking around. Such an interesting warm home.
I love the wallpaper on the bathroom door and, against that darker hallway wall, the white and blue looks so fresh and airy. I really enjoyed this tour. A home of love, treasures and stories ❤
Love to watch Homeworthy videos. Specially on small apartments. Thank you!!💕
What a lovely home with a gracious man!
House looks so comfortable and inviting and Scott is warm and engaging.
After the stark whites and grays of farmhouse I’m so happy to see color comeback and be used so expressive like this.
It looks like they’ve lived there forever! Just wonderful. As a Scot I am astounded at how he made his tartan upholstered pieces and blankets so chic! He also has a fantastic sense of humour.
Go see his house beautiful shoot from the San Francisco house. He has acquired the stuff over decades.
So much humor and fun and loyalty and kindness in his home. Inspirational.
A delightful apartment! Something to discover in every square inch! Impossible to live a boring life here! Thanks!
Love this home 💕I’m also a maximalist. I know it’s in to be a minimalist but I could never make that move. I love beautiful things. And if I had to downsize and choose things to get rid of I don’t think I could. Please show more homes like this!!!💕💕
I'm with you, totally! Minimalism makes me feel uncomfortable. Maximalism makes me feel warm and cozy.
I agree. I've often thought about that too, that if I had to downsize what would I keep and what would I let go? It would be hard to choose!
Me too. I love collections.
Actually!!!! Maximalism is back!!
Same. I love my collections and inherited pieces. They make me happy.
Thank you for this beautiful tour! I'm going to watch it again and I'm sure it will be a favorite.
Fantastic space. Wonderfully colorful walls and textiles. Interesting artwork everywhere. Fabulous collections--the owls and the teacups. Tasteful items juxtaposed with kitschy ones. The dark gallery hallway made my day. The home is wonderful.
Thank you so much for another wonderful tour. I am always excited to see that you've posted a new video. You do a great job of showing everything, letting the host speak, and going slow enough to see all their fabulous collections.

What an enchanting interior, beautifully articulated forms, textures and functions. Thank you for the limitless potential of tiny spaces! x

Scot is adorable! What a charming home tour.

What a fabulous space. I'd love to sit over dinner with this guy and just chat, just chat.....how fascinating it would be.
Scot Meacham Wood's design ethic reminds me of myself...He is truly a "Curator of Comfort!"

Love that he didn’t remove hats! Real life😊 Lovely, cozy home.
I wish I had the confidence to upholster my walls, so talented!
I like where he says this is where the magic happens and then takes you to the kitchen...that's clever!
It wouldn’t surprise me to learn he designed that entire apartment around mom’s portrait and great-grandma’s quilt. And who doesn’t love that quilt?? Scott your Home Tour was lovely and you are such a charming gentleman. Thanks for sharing.

Really enjoyed this home tour - and love Meacham!
So much joy to view this home
Thank you💐💐
I love that he's down to earth and likes his washer/dryer. Does his own laundry. Not a princess-y type. Lol
Very Colorful.This Is The Life.
I love his home and his style!!!!
What an absolutely charming space! Tartanscot, such a comfy and welcoming place...love the paper on the door--❤️❤️
This home tour surprised me! I don’t tend to love an over abundance of pattern play, however it really worked here with all of the plaids and I really love it!
