I didn't know Loleatta sang with them before Josie, Delores, and James Herndon left the group. She must've filled in once Shirley left.

Yes she came in during the time Inez,Delores,Josephine and James was still in the group I think Inez might’ve been Pregnant during this recording

I think this was a big transitional period for the group. Inez only sang Willing to Wait and Loeletta only sang this song.
Eventually Delores, Josephine and Inez eventually left and Loeletta stayed with Tina bringing two new members becoming Albertina Walker and The Caravans

@@GospelHeroit was kinda like this in the 1950s as well cus you’d have your OG lineup Ora Lee,Nellie,Elyse and Tina like in 1953 they had a whole new lineup come in but some of the Originals didn’t leave the group till 1954

Oh my goodness. This video was not available for like 5 years. I'm so glad it found its way back. I also think if you were to listen carefully on the "Wade in the Water" video somehow I feel that I can hear Loleatta's vocals on that segment as well even though just Dolores,Albertina and Josephine are shown on that video. What do ya'll think? Please comment if you either or agree or not agree with me.

Thank you for posting this! I lived in Chicago for 8 years in the 60s. I remember watching jubilee showcase before church. I remember the episode when James Herndon and his group was on the show with Delores Washington I believe. Do you have that episode? I sure would love to see it.
