Yes, I throw clockwise... but I am right handed. I just started out wrong... and by the time I realized it, I was 1k pots in and it just seemed like a lot to relearn it the other way. Thank you for watching!
I am reading this as I just came out of the pottery room from trimming! I should've filmed it! lol. Well a challenge for another day. I can definitely trim in under a minute a bowl.
Interesting, I have never time myself so I just did it today, here it goes. 30 small vases in 21 minutes flat, 30 small bowls in 17.56 minutes and 23 ring holders in 10.15 minutes I just run out of clay. Just for the record that is the normal speed I throw this little pots. I think I am going to to subscribe to your channel its fun.
@@threelittlepotters thank you! Got my video online with new pieces for the market also of some small vases. Thought I do the same as you throw a lot in a small period of time 👏😂
I have the cheaper Shimpo VL-lite. I've been really happy with it! When I am throwing quickly I am usually on the fastest speed but modulate it as needed.
@@threelittlepotters You’re one of few people who are so positive about Etsy. How long did it take for your sales to grow? I have a shop on vacation now. I got tired of the lengthy setup, photography etc etc
I enjoyed this challenge! Well done. Do you throw clock wise? I’m left handed dead, and my throwing improved immensely when I switched.

I love your videos! I'm going to try it! I'll let you know.
I think you should see if you can trim them too in 30 mn!

Wow! You're fast!! That's awesome. Where do you sell your work?
Almost 100% at craft shows, I am trying to stay away from online sales, I love your approach to throwing, there is so much unnecessary protocols.
Wow that is a lot! When my first market is over I am going to try that and film it! I let you know how it went❤
Please do! I'll definitely watch it if you post! And good luck at your market!!

I assume those all get trimmed… More time. I just ordered two D Core trimming tools today. Psyched!
I should cap my trim time at 20 seconds per! New trimming tools are so fun!
I smoked 36 bowls.
NICE! Now what will you do with them all?
aha! I could work on one bowl for thirty minutes and likely it would flop. Nice job!
A bit of repetition and you'll be surprised how good you'll get!
Eh, Can I ask, what kind of wheel and speed you have?

How many can you sell in 30 minutes?
LOL! I know, listing on Etsy takes more time than making them. My poor shop is languishing because I am sick of shipping.

You make it look so easy. 34 bowls is pretty impressive, well done 🩷
Thank you! 😊 Are you going to try it?
