- I unloaded my kiln and was really disappointed with the glazing results. But like in every bad day there is always something good. So I found my perfect mug in between all the failed pieces.

My favorite is the yellow and blue mug. Very pretty pots.
Mine too. Thank you for watching 🥰
Try Spectrum soft green or Amaco celadon Jade. If Jade is too dark you can dilute it with celadon snow. Good luck!
I like the so many reds mug. It's perfect the way is.
I knew that there will be people who are fine with the red and that makes me happy. I'm sometimes really strict with myself but instead I should start loving the process. Thank you so much for your feedback.

Suza
Hi...loved your video and I'm looking forward to seeing more. What cone or temperature did you fire to?
Thank you so much. I fire to 1230 Grad Celsius with a 10 or a 20 minute hold. Cheers Suza 🙏🏻
Suza--- Sorry girl but get used to it! The kiln is the one part of the process where we have virtually no control. I've had the same thing happen. Sometimes there is NO explanation-- ['no rhyme or reason'---a good idiom to learn (ex ESL teacher here)]. Viel Glück!
I learn and I’m fine with every fail because it makes me better next time 💪🏻
I’m wondering if it got too hot? I fire mine to around 1135 C Some pretty pots tho
I guess so. But I fire always with the same temperature 1230 C because I’m still to scared to change anything. I do have my kiln for 4 months now and didn’t do many loadings so far. Is 1135 C enough for tableware? Thank you for sharing your knowledge 🙏🏻
I have found pottery is all about experiments!! Keeps us on our toes! Happy potting😊
