Yeah this is an amazing car, Super quick, great stopping and handling. There were a few experimental race cars in the 60s like the Chaparral 2J that used a vacuum to suck the car to the ground, but they were quickly outlawed because they were too quick. But also a problem with some high downforce race cars is if they get some air and lose the tight suction connection with the ground, they can fly up and lose control. So they could become dangerous to drive on uneven road surfaces. I was surprised to see the McMurtry Speirling priced at $150K, because it looks like it would have the capability to set track and acceleration records for street legal cars everywhere it goes. It would be good to see how well it performs without the fans in operation. Thanks for the downforce lesson!
