I would put tax collectors pretty high up in job priorities, because I’m pretty so sure you’re only collecting half of your tax income. Also, when your kingdom falls apart, low priority jobs like tax collectors won’t be filled, and gold is very important on keeping your kingdom afloat

Loving this series, can't wait to see more! Try training up an obscene number of archer squads, they can attack vikings, wolves, AND dragons. They can so shoot viking ships. Towers are cool, but pricey. Knights are useful, but kinda derpy. But archers blocking out the sun with arrows is goofy OP. And, if you build the castle stairs, archers can mount the walls and get slightly better range.

I’ve noticed that food seems to be having an issue in this experimental alpha since when I was playing it I had to make a huge surplus of farmers to produce more food than I needed. I ran into the same issue of food seemingly running out even though you were producing more food than you were consuming. I had to get a surplus of around 50 food just to keep track as any gained food just instantly ran out. Also as I’m watching I’m not sure if you have placed a jousting arena, however I noticed that it has to have armaments plus food in order to upkeep the happiness. So keep that in mind that it may cost you more of your iron to use it. Also by using the hall of diplomacy you can gather resources for a gift and then you can send your envoy to an ai kingdom to improve relations with that gift as well as complete quests. Also keep in mind that an ai ship can actually block you ships from moving. I had an envoy at an ai kingdom and tried to board my ship and leave however the ai boat was in the way and I could not move it. Also then castle health bar indicates structural health around the kingdom, a mason can be used to repair buildings over time as your buildings degrade over time as well as during attacks. Also the siege workshop will allow you to build the new siege units that have the catapult. Name suggestion for the colony Eisen Pferd (iron horse in German)

Suggestion: you could turn the new island for agriculture while you use piggy pig island to a fort (since you can’t completely blockade The ports) you can use a funnel with a death zone and use the main island as residents and money maybe even use the wooden fort (left of main island) to support military? (I’m not too familiar with this game so it’s just a suggestion)

Your colony has lots of fish surrounding it, you can utilize that to make a fishing industry out of it and ship it back to the main island to make up for the lack of wheat and fruit aside from using it as an iron industry.
