Cool that you can configure the fingering to flute as well as other instruments, flute player here - might have to get one, be great for recording as well as jamming.
Since you know music you will have a head start, plus it can be set up to play with flute fingering which is pretty straight ahead, for the first couple of octaves anyway.
About as easy as a saxophone, which is to say, not hard at all. With an hour a day, you should have the fingerings down in about 2 weeks, maybe a little slower or faster. It’s definitely something to look into.
I have an AE-10 (the AE-20 is even more customizable) and I'm set it to a kind of Recorder fingering, where it's a straight Octave from middle B down to middle C with two buttons for Sharp/Flat that is intuitive if you know your B-flat scale. I've never played a saxophone (previous experience in Trumpet, Oboe, and Keyboard), but I was able to pick up and play mine in under 10 minutes.
It basically has the same synth core as the the AE-30 Pro, but at a lower price, lacking some features (many are features some people do not like, so it might be better for you) but offering an improved experience over the AE-10.
The Roland Aerophone Pro is the most modern wind instrument, the current superior function and timbre. But Roland invented the ultimate product but lacked video clips for users to use and express ... it is really wasteful because when using AE10 is good, but when using AE30, it does not achieve high efficiency because of the lack of advanced installation sample video clips ... I fall into this category and there are many other users.... I hope Roland soon has more advanced video clips to let users be widely used around the world with Aerophone instruments or how great !!! Thank you Roland !!!
Magnífica propuesta de combinar está tecnología, desafortunadamente se oye que el sonido proviene de un plástico, no de un metal o madera, se escucha sonido sintético.
Roland needs to update Aerophones with USB audio compliance. Zero reason we should have to be chained to an audio interface to get audio into iPad in 2024. Even their Aira line does this. Cmon Roland.
This is definitely intentional. She is using the Sax setting, which allows her to alter pitch from within her mouth for a more warm, emotive, human intonation experience, as opposed to the keyboard experience of perfectly, robotically locked intonation.
Hahaha, this is so cringe - especially when the jazzy hip-hop beat kicks in & she swaggers through to the next room. In saying that, I just bought one. Suppose I'm going for more of a sampled/acoustic sound, even if I have to use it as a controller. I've paid for a lot of Roland onboard synth though, so guess I'll have to try broadening my horizons.
Beautiful work Patrick!
50 years congratulations
That last Jam was pretty dope.

What a great performance....i love this song....
Me to. I can’t see credits for the individual artists. I would love to follow them all individually
Now,this thing is my dream.
I have the old one I like it too I used it in my recordings
Love this 🤩
How easy or difficult would it be to learn to play an Aerophone? I can play keyboard, and I am always intrigued by these.

@@jessesingersongwriter Is the embouchure as "strong" as on a sax or other woodwinds or is it closer to what you'd see on an EWI?

@@nickbarrow2805 I always like to pick up saxophone, would you recommend aerophone over saxophone? Currently I play guitar and some harmonica.

Can it connect with a Fantom and play supernatural sounds there? To get the special expression from wind instruments

Boy that's a one long cable 😂😂😂
This makes me think of the star wars scene at the bar before when they meet Han Solo. The aliens are playing something like this

Have they fixed the sticky octave key??
Of course.
the octave keys of my ae05 become sticky just after purchasing it for 2 weeks...
@@alphabeets 🙂 yea sure

Yes.

Sounds great, but all I can hear is electric without woodwind

Tuning is bit suspect?
lol right! It might be the sound they are using 😂
