  • A variety of realistic acoustic instruments and Roland’s award-winning synths
There’s nothing worse than a studio session grinding to a halt because you need an instrument that you haven’t brought along. That won’t happen with the Roland Aerophone AE-10, which gives you a variety of additional acoustic instrument sounds like clarinet, flute, oboe, trumpet, violin, and more, all powered by Roland’s SuperNATURAL technology to faithfully match the behavior of the originals. Even ethnic instruments like shakuhachi and erhu are on hand, offering authentic pitch and tonal fluctuations that echo their acoustic counterparts. Once you’ve tried the individual sounds, you can create one-man ensembles by layering multiple wind instrument sounds with the Brass Section setting. The AE-10 is also packed with a selection of the latest synth sounds that are specially tailored for wind instrument performance with fully optimized breath control.

you know what, you can play and blow the saxophone till your head turn red
and your neighbor won't knock your door threatening to kill you
it's not about the sound quality, you won't use this for live performance,
you use this if you living in the apartment so you can play and train without bothering your neighbor and roommate
you can raise up and down the volume and you can bring it with you on travel, also you can plug headphone jack on the sax,
that feature is a dream come true

It's the style of playing the instrument projected by the player that makes it more like the real thing.

Somewhere in the late nineties, Roland became uninventive, uncreative… severely standard. With an amazing engine, this instrument could have been used for creating interesting, new and unheard-of sounds, perhaps even change the tone of the industry like NI and Output have done. I would love to see Roland make breakthrough instruments again, rather than plastic remixes. I would love it! The SH's, Juno's, the 10/20/3080 still has plenty of scope even today!

I appreciate your videos that are of excellent quality. My name is Juan Pablo Rivas, I am Chilean, I live in Santiago and have been a music teacher for over 30 years. Currently I want to buy an Aerophone Go or the AE 10. They sell me AE 10, but it has only 50 sounds or a little more, the owner tells me, that I could add more sounds, I think you have to pay to acquire them, but in the tutorials from You Tube, this instrument features 129 sounds. Maybe it would have to be configured as factory state, so that all the sounds can be returned. The person who sells it said: "That it had only those sounds and bought it new" Also this seller said: "That it could generate more sounds by mixing them with what it has, because they can be stored in the empty banks, which this instrument has.
Is there a software, in which I can download the sounds for free? Or this Aerophone AE 10 comes configured like this. I am concerned because I do not want to be cheated by buying a faulty instrument and it is not cheap.
And in relation to the Aerophone Go, which has 11 sounds, but other sounds can be added for free and saved in this instrument. Which one suits me best?
I currently have an EWI 4000s but I don't like the sounds. I'm looking for one that has more real sounds, like sax, violin etc. If I want to have them for this instrument, I must buy them. I don't like it very much either, because of the wheels it has for the octaves.
Thank you for reading this message, if you could help me please!
    Thank you so much!
    Juan Pablo Rivas

The young lady that demo'd the Tenor Sax, Flute and "Scat" didn't do a very good job of selling the instrument on those patches. Either one of the gentlemen would have done a better job of it I'm sure. However, on the eastern instruments (I'm assuming their Asian instruments but not sure off the top of my head) she did a wonderful job. Not sure that the gentlemen couldn't have done just as good a job or not. Since the idea is to sell the instrument and show it off in the best light I would have cut the flute and tenor sax performances from this video. Especially since the video leads off with the Tenor sax and I came very close to ending the video right there.
