    Thank you to all three participants for the very best foundational interview on Objectivism!! Just fantastic filled with value for a layman like myself. Gloria knows how to bring out the very best from all three people and it is extremely enlightening. Again, thank you all so much for this foundational information and enlightenment.

    This is some of the best content I've seen on youtube ever. I think that the minds involved in this series are beautifully articulate, thoughtful and inquisitive. I am learning a lot from this series and am grateful for those whose effort made this possible.

    Reason is faculty that converts the physical mountain into a mental image of the mountain that we carry around in our mind such that whenever you hear the word mountain, you automatically grasp the physical site of a mountain...

    Reality is not two there can be no primacy. "Awareness is known by awareness alone," is the sole irreducible axiom of reality..

    I enjoy that serie but there is some red flag. When Harry say ''all the prophet never said something new or not known before'' it reminded me of when he said in the previous episode that truth doesn't become false tommorow.

    I would love to hear these same three people give us their opinions of the impact of a visit to Earth by representatives of an Alien Civilization obviously many eons advanced beyond ourselves.d

    • @Shozb0t
      @Shozb0t 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      What are the alien’s intentions? Are they carrying any deadly diseases or radiation? Can we communicate with them? Are they willing to trade with us?

    Great stuff! Two quibbles:
    - did I hear "everything is knowable"? How would we know that? Or maybe I'm not following...?
    - all Newton did is mathematically *_DESCRIBE_* gravity... he explained nothing... we still have no real explanation of any of the fundamental forces (not to diminish what Newton did)

    Thanks for the subs!. Y por traer a Harry a estas entrevistas, es tan claro, me encanta.
    Me fascinó cuando dijo que la fe era básicamente fingir, desde que me llevaban a la iglesia en mi infancia he pensado siempre eso y he tenido que fingir para encajar. No sabía que está bien no encajar cuando los demás están equivocados o mienten.
    Gloria Alvarez "wants to believe", I think.

    It wıll be ınterestıng to observe how easıly people wıll wrongly call ıt telepathy when Elon Musk enables us to communıcate wıth each other wıthout the use of words.

    • @Shozb0t
      @Shozb0t 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      That IS telepathy. It would just be real instead of fantasy (such as Professor X). But if you invent it first, you can name it something else. How about dreamfasting or mindmelding?

    AAAAAAAAAAA A visão que vocês tem do ceticismo é muito caricata. Meu deus (risos).
    Existem dois tipo de Ceticismo: O pirrônico e o acadêmico. O Pirrônico é MAIS OU MENOS isso aí que vocês falam, enquanto acadêmico é o que Hume se apropria e soma com o empirismo de Francis Bacon e John Locke, assim ele desenvolve no Investigação acerca do entendimento humano. Que é um livro incrível.
    Que agonia.

    I'm sorry, but you guys are never going to get this message to proliferate until you find a way to strike this message into the psyche of people on an emotional level. Say It LOUDER with EMOTIONAL content. Where are the fiction writers that can do this?
