- I have felt really motivated to finish up all of my works-in-progress since making my projects video. That's great! Here is an update on my Moorland Blanket by Attic 24.

We are a family of four, working hard to eat healthily, live frugally, pay off our mortgage early and save/invest for retirement. We’ve lived below the poverty line for many years and have now got our heads above that line. Our household income remains well below the national average in the UK but we have paid off all of our debt, including our mortgage.
It’s all hands on deck to save and invest for our retirement and for our children’s futures. We hope that we can put them in a position where they don’t have to struggle financially, as we have, and that we can break the generational cycle of poverty that we have experienced.
I am mostly doing Slimming World but the rest of the family aren’t, so you will see food in my videos which are high in Syns and which I may or may not choose to include in my Syns for the week. I show you it all so that you can get a true picture of our food shopping.
If you have found anything in this video useful, please give me a thumbs up and subscribe for more healthy eating and frugal living with a debt-free purpose 😊.Thanks for watching 😊.

Hi Tess, your blanket is so gorgeous, I am in awe. Truly beautiful. The snow is also beautiful, we celebrate a summer Christmas, very different. Lots of love. ⚘
Thank you! You too!

Beautiful. Well done for getting it finished. It must feel very satisfying.
Thanks Ann. It really was very satifying to get there finally.
That is a beautiful pattern and beautiful colors. I have done a similar pattern in the shell stitch and I had all of those ends! I think that was the hardest part of the whole project. Congratulations on finishing. That will be a blanket to enjoy for years and years🦋
Sewing in the ends is such a pain, but a good programme on the telly and I can just chip away at it :-)
Lovely blanket Tess. I use to crochet years ago but not done any dont think I can remember how to now. xx
I'm sure that, if you wanted to, it would come back to you. Plus there are lots of crochet videos on TH-cam that would refresh your memory.
It's absolutely beautiful. Well done.
Thank you so much 😀

I just got them at Specsavers a couple of years ago. Thank you x

What a beautiful blanket !! I had to laugh at the two pairs of glasses on your head.....I THOUGHT I was the ONLY ONE who did this !! Lolol
Haha...you are definitely not the only one lol.
Shall you finish the second sock now Tess ?
For non sock knitters, there is a common ailment called SSS- second sock syndrome ! It's not good.
Ah, yes. SSS :-). I think I'm going to finish my cat stitchwork next and then the sock. :-)
Love the colours in yr blanket theyre beautiful and itll keep u warm in all the snow. I hate sewing in the ends. Could u not knot them and make them tassels?.
